This hotel have everything I need and it was very confortable. Restaurants inside of the hotel are a little expensive, and you have to walk around 10 mins to found another place to eat. It has ver nice view of the city of tokyo, and it a very clear day you can see mount fuji on the top floor.

The Dai-Ichi in Shinbasi is a traditional, upscale hotel. The rooms are well decorated and clean, and larger than average for Tokyo. The concierge services in the lobby are very friendly and speak excellent English. The lounge on the top floor offers excellent views, and the Japanese restaurant on the -1 level makes top notch sushi- but you pay a...

The whole premises are good despite old. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable far more than the average Tokyo hotels' rooms. However this hotel is situated close to rail tracks which may be disturbing for some rooms especially in the lower floors. When checking in request for a room that's not close to the tracks. Usually the rooms with...

Stayed 2 nights here with my daughters aged 15 & 18. It was a 2 bed with a sofa converted into 3rd bed. The room was big by Tokyo standards and the bathroom extremely so with bath and shower. Lots of nice Shishedo products. The room was hot and the whole hotel is overheated. We had to run cold air...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
