The old hotel is OK. Reasonably comfortable, the staff were excellent very helpful. It is clean and tidy, the rooms are small, but expected of 3 star. It could be called a budget hotel. They are building a new hotel which should be OK. Reasonable for 2 to 3 nights. Plenty of shops etc in the vicinity. 2 km walk... More

The hotel was clean and the staff were very obliging. The rooms however were not very functional and well worn. I realise that rooms in Tokyo are small however the shape of the room did not allow for a good layout of a bed with built in furniture and chair / table. Consequently the bed was pushed right up to... More

hiba Park Hotel was very central – especially to the tours (they picked us up at the Hotel). It is a smaller (being renovated) hotel with a friendly feel. The concierge took us up to the room and showed us how to operate everything including how to change the TV into English translations. Room much larger than I expected –... More

We landed at 0530 off a 9 hour flight from Sydney.. went straight to the hotel using the Monorail... it was easy to navigate the ticket system and where we needed to be... we did that because ..... the limousine pre paid ticket didn't work... they wanted us to wait till 1300 hrs for the next bus... to call it... This hotel is simple and nice, suitable for everyone who book a hotel only for sleep and good location consideration. Located not in the main street but easy to reach. Doesn't have much entertainment facilities. If you kind of low budget traveller, you can buy your breakfast in a convenient store located only 100 meters from this hotel, that has... More

I found this hotel to be in an ideal spot for exploring the city. The hotel is clean and modern and staff are very smiley and helpful. The breakfast was the best I had in my 2 weeks touring Japan, however don't expect a full western breakfast I didn't find that anywhere and hey why would I, I was in... More

Nine nights spent at the Shiba Park Hotel: Pros: - Good location (quiet, non-crowded part of town, close to public transportation- Hamamatsucho station is a 5 min walk and here you can get on the JR-line train that loops around the central parts of Tokyo) - The hotel in itself feels clean, spacious and the rooms are quiet at night... The hotel is in a perfect location, an easy walk to Hamamatsucho Station and other Metro subways such as Onarimon and Daimon. Lots of eateries and cafes close by, plus Lawson's and 7-11 just around the corner. Rooms were big enough - bathroom was small, but the shower had excellent water pressure. Bed and pillows were a little hard for... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.

We want our guests from overseas to understand more about Japan, to fall in love with our country, and to experience the true meaning of Japanese hospitality, which we call “omotenashi. ” So what can we do to accomplish that?
