Rooms are small but have a very nice Japanese Garden. Convenient as there is a hotel shuttle back and forth to the Meouro Station. For a Sheraton Hotel, its a little below expectations. Importantly, rooms are clean with amenities , very responsive housekeeping crew. Hotel facilities are improving as they now have a club lounge in Miyako. Explore around the... More

A hotel that mixes tradition with some quite modern features. A very good bar, two great cafe environments and a very expensive Japanese restaurant. Our local business colleagues felt it was a suitable location and we were able to travel easily to Ropponghi and Ginza

Stayed 3 nights in late March. The hotel is 5~7 min. from Shirokanedai metro station. The hotel provides free shuttle service to/from Meguro station which is on Yamanote line. We used shuttle service most of the time and took taxi only one time. Hotel room is very typical, nothing fancy, typical Sheraton with good comfortable bed. Room was very clean.... More

Stayed at this hotel for 9 nights in two rooms. Great experience. Rooms were on the small size but larger than I expected, which was a plus. Two beds that were larger than twin but smaller than queen/full. A nice chaise lounge and plant in the corner and a desk with another chair as well. The rooms were very clean,... More

Service is impeccable. Concierge knowledgable and helpful with our many travel arrangements inside and surrounding Tokyo. Rooms are spacious by Tokyo standards and well appointed. The only down side is that there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance but this is offset by free shuttle to closest JR stations.

The Sheraton Hotel In Tokyo is beautifully decorated. Our stay was very comfortable and we left having had a very pleasant experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant and bar area when you first walk in where there are plants and waterfalls jotted about, giving it a relaxing calm feel for guest to enjoy. The... More

I stayed in this hotel in May with my boyfriend. Here are the positive and negative points Positive points: Central location, nice garden, shuttle offered to and from the nearest train station. This hotel is located in the Shinagawa district and is about 1.5 hours from Narita airport and about 30 mins from Haneda. I used the Airport Limousine Bus from Narita which is approx JPY3100 one-way. The bus is modern, clean, air-conditioned and has a WC on board. The hotel staff are friendly, courteous and professional in authentic Japanese style. There... More

We stayed at the hotel for almost a week to attend a wedding ceremony at Hapo-en (the hotel is just seconds away from Hapo-en). Great service, thorough cleaning consistently, friendly staff and cosy ambiance. It is definitely one of our favourite hotels in Tokyo and we look forward to returning in the near future.

I stayed in the Sheraton Miyako for 5 nights on Business, while it was a pleasant stay the facilities hold it back from a higher score. Positives: The big positives were the very friendly staff, all fluent in English. Rooms were spacious (by Japanese standards) and the hotel had regular shuttles to an area with plenty of dining options. Negatives:... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighborhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
