Our first trip to Tokyo and we are glad we stayed at The Grand Nikko as it was a little bit away from the crowds of downtown. The hotel was undergoing a change of name while we were there which did not affect our stay at all. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The hotel had a large variety... More

The hotel is very close the Daiba rail station literally a 5 minute walk and close to a number of shopping malls that are accessed via the walkways. The FUJI TV Centre is close by and good views of the bay to the bridge and the 'Statue of Liberty'. The hotel is very comfortable with an excellent shower and large... More

The hotel looks out of Tokyo Bay and has panoramic views over the City of Tokyo. The rooms are large and comfortable and offer the most amazing views. From our room on the 19th floor we looked out over the Rainbow Bridge, The Statue of Liberty and in the distance the Tokyo Tower. The service was as you would expect... More

This is a great hotel to stay at if you want to rest in luxury and be near the center of Tokyo. Rooms (and baths) are big by Japanese stds. Finishes are high quality and the service is great. All the staff we met spoke English. Buffet breakfast is outstanding and offered on various floors: 30th floor has best view... More

The location is a BIG PLUS! Located right in front of Daiba station. Malls all over the surroundings. Plus the view of the Rainbow Bridge overlooking the hotel is just breathtaking each time. The hotel is a luxury itself. Food is great. Plenty of elevators so one wont wait too long. Staffs are as expected, polite, helpful and friendly. Definitely... More

stayed alone just one night for the convnience of meeting friends in Tokyo. It was OK, as only 15 minutes of Yurikamome monorail from Shimbashi. Maybe because of that distance less expensive thanthe hotels around Shimbashi, Shiodome of Ginza, I thought. But still it is a ittle bit AWAY from the city centre if tha is what you want. DeLux... Beautiful hotel with a metro stop out the front of the hotel. It is not on the JR line therefore the JR tourist ticket is not valid and you need to pay to get to a JR connector station. You can walk off the island via the rainbow bridge, or the hop on hop off bus stop is near by.... More

I am traveling extensively for business worldwide. Due to a show nearby brought me to this hotel. The location, the facilities, gym, spa, shops, restaurants are undeniable fantastic. The room is big, nice view and super clean. Wifi is free and ok speed. BUT: you expect nice, helpful English speaking employees, it was not possible to ask anything as NO... More

First time at this hotel, 4th time on Odaiba Island. Lots to do here on Odaiba, lots of shopping to eating and game centers. Even the Water Museum is here. This hotel is very nice and the staff really accommodating and friendly. My room is top notch and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. My room through Expedia.com was... More

We stayed 4 nights in early July. We had a family room with 4 single beds. Although the beds were singles they seemed bigger than North American single beds. The hotel is very nice and very well situated right by the train to go into Tokyo. There are also plenty of shopping malls and restaurant options within walking distance. We... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
