Comfy bed, spacious room, very quiet, very modern. Love the toilet, it washes your bits and is fun. I was sick and they made me chicken soup not on the menu which was awesome and just what I needed to feel well. Their location is great, just around the corner from Roppongi for food and Ginza for shopping. Breakfast is... More

First time to Tokyo for me and my family... there is always a lot of pressure to start the trip off on the right foot. Reading reviews, blogs, asking friends and investigating way into the night... I have so much I want to share about Tokyo from a practical perspective but I will focus on this hotel during this post.... More

Choosing where to stay in Tokyo is not an easy task as it depends on many factors like the area , your budget etc. I am glad I finally decided upon this hotel. Location is in Roppongi/ Akasak area and the hotel is just a few meters away from the Ginza line metro station. There are many restaurants and convenience... More

The very best executive club in Japan! Amazing service standard, genuine staff's approaches and professionalism. Amazing ! Décor, amenities and services, simply the best in Japan if not in Asia! Best meeting places, even delicate choices made for amenities such as choice of wine, drinks... and unlike other intercontinental hotels, allow kids to enjoy the club with parents...

The hotel is located 20 minutes walk south of empire palace. Very easy to access Tokyo metro. As a spiral member, I got an upgrade on a bigger room with two big beds. The room is very clean and well set up, it gives you a luxury hotel feeling. The air conditioning is quiet, you can sleep without earbuds. The... More

So the location for business is good and close to Roppongi but as a guest staying a week for about €300 per day, you have to pay another €40 per guest per day for using the pool?!?!? The staff is great the rooms are what you would expect from a standard 5* hotel but charging your guests and on top... More

Maybe its wrong to expect a hotel to have a wow factor but some InterContinental properties have it, this one does not. That is not to take away from the fact its a good hotel and we did not find fault with in on a 3 night stay. It's well located, 10 minute taxi ride from Tokyo Station or, if... More

I love inter continental, you know what you'll get- great service, clean well appointed rooms and locations that are easy to get to ( and around ). The rooms are different sizes and I got a club floor room so slightly larger and a coffee maker. A shower + bathtub is somewhat of a luxury in Tokyo city center. The... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
