Purchased some small cakes , madeleines & choc slice as gifts for business clients as is customary in Japan. Upon sharing with my clients it was obvious that they were less than impressed. Standard was very poor compared to most pastry shops in the department stores or standalone shops ( eg .Joel Robuchon at Roppongi Hills ). I guess its... More

I had never been to Japan or Asia and was feeling overwhelmed by the hotel choices. This place turned out to be perfect. It is in a excellent walkable location, and the staff is fantastic. The hotel restaurants and bar are also very good.

Beautiful Hotel in Akasaka located between the Tameike Sanno and Roppongi Itchome subway stations. Next to the Ark Hills building which has numerous bars and restaurants. A short walk to the Roppongi district. Very nice, comfortable large rooms. Excellent breakfast Buffett.

Checked yesterday @ 6.30am after a long flight. Lucky we were able to bring our check in time forward to 11am instead of 3 pm. So, we left our luggage and ventured out. The concierge was very helpful and spoke good English. The metro system was easy and convenient to,use and is right on the hotels doorstep. Breakfast at the... More

It was my first visit to Japan and I stayed in this hotel more than 10 days. I was with my wife. This hotel was very high tech inside out. The food was very good. The service was great. Our room was in one of the highest floors. The view of the tall buildings was very impressive and nice. Our... More

Liked this place a lot, lovely big room and comfy bed. Found the proximity to VERY LOUD tourists at breakfast rather grating so recommend earplugs or itunes...appreciated the refectory style seating for those of us not LOUDLY discussing what to sight see for the day.Really enjoyed my stay, especially bumping into a certain touring rugby team...the only thing I didn't... The ANA Intercon in Tokyo is a decent hotel if you're in town and are looking to be somewhere within walking distance to shops and restaurants but not right in the middle of the busiest parts of Tokyo. Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
