Detailed Reviews
This was our first hotel on a month long tour of Japan. The room size was small, very small, however we expected that. The bathroom was a micro unit, at least the water pressure was strong.
The hotel is very much a business overnight type with little to offer in amenities. There are some restaurants close by with Craft Meat being the best option for a meat and beer dinner. It is close by (3-5min walk)
The transit is close as well and Japanese transit is always convenient.
I left a walking stick when we left and when I returned 2 weeks later is was not to be found.
If you are looking for a short stay hotel, this may fit your need.

I stayed here on a business trip. It's close to Tamachi Station, and there's a large supermarket in front of the station, and a convenience store nearby, so it's very convenient. There is a lounge for guests only, where you can get coffee and other things for free. There is also a water server just off the elevator. There are no amenities such as cosmetics. The premier room, which only has a shower booth, is equipped with a coffee machine and a foot massager.

I had a wonderful 4 night stay. Brand new hotel beautifully finished and so quiet and comfortable. The location may seem out of the way for Tokyo but I wouldn’t say that at all - it’s a 10 minute walk to Tamachi station which is on the Yamanote line, so you can seamlessly get anywhere in Tokyo, and the walk is through a lovely modern local neighbourhood with plenty of food options and many convenience stores. Easy access to both Tokyo International Cruise Terminal (I got the monorail and walked 15 mins) and to Haneda and Narita by local rapid train from Mita. Staff were incredibly helpful at every turn, there is a water cooler on each floor to fill your bottle, and despite being small (it is Japan!) the rooms are perfectly functional. Highly Recommend.

I stayed here on a business trip to Tokyo. It was a non-smoking premium semi-double room. This room only has a shower, but the shower booth and toilet are separate. The shower booth is made of glass, which may make you feel uneasy, but since I was alone it was not a problem. There was also a foot massager, which was great for tired bodies. The room was a little small, but it was great not to have to worry about the inconvenience of a unit bath. The view from the large windows on both sides was of buildings, so it was a great hotel where you could fully enjoy the feeling of being in an urban hotel.

Going here, we took the Yamanote line (green line) from Haneda Airport then took the Tamachi exit.
1) Check in/check out- we already encountered dilemma upon check-in on Dec 29,2016. We were informed that the room they will give us is a SMOKING ROOM. We didn't booked our room directly to their website but through AGODA. And according to the GUY RECEPTIONIST that if AGODA didn't specify what type of room the guest booked, they will assume it's a SMOKING ROOM. Thus, they gave us a SMOKING ROOM. First and foremost, WE NEVER BOOK A SMOKING ROOM due to my allergy and IM VERY CERTAIN THAT AT AGODA WEBSITE, WE CHOSE A NONE SMOKING ROOM AS WE ALWAYS DO. But what happened, the receptionist INSISTED that they don't have any none smoking room avail and we have to take the room. TOO BAD THAT WE ALREADY PAID THE ROOM ACCOMMODATION PRIOR TO OUR STAY for total of 7 days. The hotel WILL NOT REIMBURSE US. It's like he were saying TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.
I believe that prior to our booking, which is more than a month before our scheduled stay, AGODA sent them our confirmation request about a none smoking room. If they don't have available none smoking room, they should inform us ahead of time of nine availability. We can look for other BETTER HOTEL. I don't know who exactly mistake or fault it was but IM SURE ITS SOMETHING THAT I SHOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
I think the management SHOULD TRAIN THEIR PEOPLE. because we, as guests, don't just request a NONE SMOKING ROOM out of our whim but because of HEALTH REASON, which is my allergy. That's why I KEPT INSISTING I WONT TAKE THE SMOKING ROOM BECAUSE IT WILL GIVE ME SO MUCH BURDEN.
We asked for an UPGRADE instead and we were WILLING TO PAY FOR THE ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR NONE SMOKING ROOM. the guy receptionist said there's NO AVAILBLE ROOM EITHER. When my hubby checked online, tru AGODA, there's ACTUALLY AVAILABLE ROOM. That's the only time we got A NONE SMOKING ROOM by PAYING EXTRA. What a rip off!!! We stayed at Room 1115 from dead 29, 2016 and checked out Jan 5, 2016. I'm putting this dates as reference and validation of our stay and what exactly happened here. To my surprise, AGODA REPLIED, that we INDEED BOOKED A NONE SMOKING ROOM.
I was trying to explain to the guys receptionist with our booking with AGODA (it was written in English) but the receptionist cuts me while I was talking. It seems he DOESNT WANT TO LISTEN BUT INSISTED on none availability of NONE SMOKING ROOM. I have been to different parts of the world and I never felt so discriminated about. I almost burst to tears because of the frustration that he NEVER TRIED TO LISTEN TO ME. It seems he didn't REALIZE HIS REAL JOB.. it's not just accommodating guests FOR CHECK-IN OR CHECK-OUT, but to provide CUSTOMER SERVICE or solutions to the concerns or issues of the guests while in the hotel.
2) Location- this hotel is not centrally located. It's like 9 stops to Shinjuku station and 6 stops from Shibuya. Only Lawson's convenience stores avail at this area and few small restaurants. I was hoping there's a mall or market we can go but there's none that's why this is a quiet area. For tourists who have aged family with them, walking from the station to the hotel might be a concern coz it's not excatly near from the station.
3) WIFi-is quite OK. Again the receptionist gave me 2 passwords ONLY.. that's for 2 gadgets ONLY. Good thing my hubby read at the elevator that there's actually complimentary WIFI for everyone on the specified floors.. another info that should actually been told to us...
4) Breakfast- we never tried their breakfast. Every time we pass by their cafe/restaurant, there are barely guests eating.
5) Room-room was a little cramped. What annoys me is the sink. It's like the room was not well-thought.. esp the bathroom. They don't have storage for luggages. Hangers were provided but we just hang our clothes on the wall. The bed was quite hard. I don't like the pillows because it's too soft I barely get a good sleep. The ref NEVER gets cold. I also noticed that under the bed was so dirty. It seems they don't clean it.. What I ONLY LIKE is their FEET MASSAGER.
Overall, I don't think I could recommend this hotel to anyone. I really felt bad and frustrated being in this hotel. It's like for the price we pay, I KNOW WE SHOULD HAVE BETTER SERVICE AND HOTEL. My hubby cancelled his booking at MYSTAYS Gotanda(closer to Shinjuku and Shibuya and train just across the hotel) every time we pass at that hotel, it makes we wish every time that I SHOULD CHOSE THAT HOTEL INSTEAD. things could have been different.
It was really such an experience with Gracery Hotel. . A terrible experience.

Good location, but located in industrial zone. Treated caucasians well with priority, treated some asians poorly. Room is okay, but dirt is below bed. Over all the location is the only advantage for this because its in yamanote line which is centrally located in tokyo

I stayed at the Hotel Gracery Tamachi for four nights while in Tokyo on business. This was my first trip to the city. The hotel is located within an easy walk from the Japan Rail Tamachi station. I had meetings in nearby Shinagawa, about a half-hour walk from the hotel and close to the Japan Rail Shinagawa Station, as well as in the center of Tokyo at Meiji University.
The hotel is located on a quiet side street, directly overlooking one of the many canals in this part of the city. The hotel is quiet and clean, and the front desk staff are very helpful, although their English is a bit limited.
The hotel has a cafe that is open for breakfast starting at 07:00 h. They serve a nice buffet with hot and cold Western and Japanese selections for about ¥1500 (around C$16 at time of writing). There are other restaurants in the area, so if you are feeling adventuresome I’m sure you could find breakfast elsewhere.
The hotel has security in the elevator, requiring your room key to activate the elevator. On the second floor, there is a guest lounge where you can get ice water and coffee on the house. There are local English and Japanese newspapers, and laptops with internet connections that are free to use. In addition, there is a shiatsu massage chair that was a welcome relief after a long afternoon spent walking around Edo Castle and downtown Tokyo. The lounge was never busy when I wanted to use it.
The rooms are small, but well appointed and comfortable. There is a TV, but no international stations (Al Jazeera International, BBC World, CNN) were available, nor were there any movies in English. The in-room Wi-Fi worked very well, with enough bandwidth for FaceTime and Skype conversations. The room was billed as a single, and the bed was what I would call a “Super Single” size, larger than a conventional single bed, but not as big as a North American Queen size bed. The bed was clean and comfortable, fitted with a small side table with a built in device charger, a dimmable bedside light and controls for the rest of the room lights.
The rooms are individually climate controlled, although the thermostats are only marked in Japanese. It doesn’t take too much playing around to figure out how it works if you’ve used a thermostat before.
The bathroom was small, but nicely set up, with bodywash, shampoo and conditioner, as well as other toiletries including a razor, toothbrush and hairbrush, all individually hygienically packaged. The toilet was also fitted with a bidet seat. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping the room clean and neatly kept.
The hotel also provided a nice nightshirt, and clean slippers, as well as a small refrigerator, and tea makings.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel if you are staying in the Tamachi area of Tokyo.

I am on the last night of a 4 night stay at this hotel. Hotel is so easy to get to, just a 5 or 6 minute walk from Tamachi station. The staff here are friendly and helpful and speak very good English. The room is big enough. I am in a single room on the women's floor and I have heard no noise at all. Nice cosmetics and bath items in room, huge bathtub and of course the whole hotel is spotlessly clean.
There are a few nice restaurants close by but if you want exciting nightlife you should stay elsewhere. I am a solo female senior traveller with 4 words of Japanese and I have walked around the neighbourhood late at night feeling perfectly safe on my own.
It is so easy with the trains to go anywhere I want very easily. I will stay here again when I am next in Tokyo.

I stayed here for 5 nights in early April. Although the hotel sits right next to the monorail line, the room is very quiet with excellent sound-proofing. The queen sized bed is comfortable and there is enough space to put my luggage without tripping over them. More importantly, there is none of the cigarette smoke smell in my room which was a relief.
The guest lounge on the 2nd floor has free wifi, newspapers, laptops, coffee machine and a massage chair which is a great welcome after a long day on your feet. However, you will be well advised not to bring in outside food and drinks into the lounge, the reason being to avoid lingering smell which may affect the comfort of other guests.
I like that this business hotel is conveniently located about 8-10 mins walk to the Tamachi JR station, and Mita station and is in a quiet neighbourhood. As I was there during the sakura season, the trees lining the walk towards the stations were in full bloom. It was a very beautiful and unforgettable sight.
I enjoyed my stay very much, not least due to the excellent customer service provided by the reception and housekeeping staff. If you do not mind a bit of walking and away from the hustle & bustle of the main tourist areas, I highly recommend this hotel for the great value you will get for your stay in Tokyo.

Sorry, i don’t know. However, the hotel is very close to the train station : i had managed my transfer by train, personnally.
I'm not sure about that coz we didn't try it.
If you have small to medium luggage, there are baggage storage/lockers at the train station payable via coins. I think ¥300 for 3 hrs. The value of payment depends how long you need the locker.
We did leave our luggage at the Tamachi Sapporo and they allowed us. I'm sure since its same hotel company, they can have same policy on leaving guests luggage.
I hope this helps.
First you need to go to Ueno st. to take the Skyliner from Narita st.(40min). Then transfer to the Yamanote Line and get off at the Tamachi(20-30min). Have a good trip;-)
