I booked this hotel wanting somewhere close to the Hamamatsucho monorail station (last monorail stop from Haneda Airport). We also needed a place that would accommodate our family of 3 children and 2 adults, and the hotel was able to give us adjoining rooms, 1 double and 1 triple. Both were quite spacious, particularly by Tokyo hotel standards, and reasonably... More

I love the location of this hotel. While some people prefer their hotels close to the attractions of the city they are visiting, I have no problem staying is a quieter area and just take public transport to go to places around the city. The hotel staff are truly accommodating and warm. No matter the language barrier, they always managed... More

I booked a twin room for 2 adults through Booking.Com for 20,000 yen per night including breakfast. We stayed 2 nights before leaving from Haneda and I chose the hotel because of proximity to the Hamamatsucho monorail station. If you get an express monorail train, the first stop is the international terminal.Access to the monorail station via a lift (level 3) is... Art Hotels Hamamatsucho is located on a quiet street just a five minutes' walk away from the Hamamatsucho (Yamanote Line) and Daimon (Asakusa Line) stations, and only about 10 minutes' walk away from Shimbashi station on the edge of Ginza, and Hama-Rikiyu Gardens and Tsukiji fish market are also a short walk away. This hotel has a very good location, being near to both Daimon Metro station and JR Hamamatsucho station though it can be hard to find for those on 1st visit. Take the north exit at the JR Hamamatsucho station, and walk in the direction of World Trade Center building. Cross the traffic light at the building and turn into the... More

Hotel located in a quiet street near transport and attractions. The room was quite roomy by Japenese standards. We stayed in a twin room with a sofa bed. Free wi fi is included and a buffet breakfast with a choice of western and asian food was quite good. Would stay here again on my next trip back to Japan.

Coming from Haneda Airport, we decided to take a cab going to this place. Apparently, because of where its located, it is actually quite simple to just take the monorail and walk -- which we didnt know to begin with. ANYWAY, Art Hotel seems to be quite an old hotel. But it is very clean and very well kept. We... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
