Stayed there for my business trip and chose it for room size and good price. It's rather new and I was satisfied with room quality. Need to line for breakfast though, if it's a high season you might wait for seats in the corridor. I would recommend the hotel itself but not the distirct, found it rather unattractive.
Booked a basic room which was sufficient for my stay. Nice blackout shades. Good location close to subway station and lots of good eats and cute shopping streets. Room was pretty quiet at night. There is no public use laundry in the building.
To move hotel in different location (another Tokyu Stay), we request larger taxi (one can take 4 suitcases). Hotel staff wasn’t helpful at all +bad attitude, I ended up order taxi myself using their pay phone.
Compact rooms with washing machine, induction heater.. Walking distance to Monzen Nakacho metro/ subway station. Walking distance to Family Mart and 7Eleven.. Small eateries around.. Friendly staff.. Walking distance to two famous shrines..
I was a bit sceptical at first about staying here as it seemed far away from many of the main places to visit in Tokyo, but once there, I had nothing to complain about! The subway line is a 2min walk, it quickly got me all over Tokyo without any problems! The hotel is located in a more residential area loaded with restaurants, convenient stores and shops. It was quiet and being on the 7th floor, it had a great view. The breakfast was not as expansive but enough to keep you full until lunchtime. It was more Japanese style, rather than Western, but why go all the way to Japan to have bread, pancakes and croissants?! (Personal point of view ofcourse). The staff were very friendly. I had no problems nor remarks about them. The room was not small, bur nor that big neither, but enough for it to be comfortable. It was clean and had the necessary equipment. Definitly would stay here again!!…
