We had a great stay in a nice room with a super bed. The room was clean and comfortable. The wet unit was fully equipped and had added value to our stay. The breakfast was very good we choose the Japanese style breakfast from the buffet and enjoyed the delicious food. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

DWs tend to have slightly larger rooms and beds than most Japanese business hotels, so if you like a little more space, it's a good choice, but a little more expensive. They offered single-cup brew packets of coffee, which was a nice touch for this jet-lagged gaijin. Breakfast was included in my rate; I usually don't take that option, and hit the streets and bakeries and Starbucks, but this was a nice breakfast with a lot of tasty nibbles, both Japanese and western, and English explanations which were reassuring. Very convenient to the South exit. Hint: take a low-numbered car to be near the South exit, or stay on the platform almost to the south end, as if you descend on the north side, you will either need to reascend, or leave via the North exit. The east side of the South exit puts you on a little alley that takes you past some- ahem- "gentlemen's clubs," (but not threatening) and a nice soba noodle shop, to the side entry of the hotel (not marked, but clearly there). Friendly staff; good AC at the beginning of hot rainy season; quiet.

I had the chance to stay at this hotel for one night only, but enough to have an idea. Room ok (typical Japanese style), practical. Breakfast absolutely Japanese style, no western breakfast. Very close to Akabane station, about 1 hour from Haneda by train (or bus with direct connection).

The hotel is very near the subway station however we have gone a wrong path and make a big turn. Must do research properly before leaving the subway station. The area is quiet at night and a lot of mans standing around so it is quite dangerous for ladies. Room was small but comfy and the bathroom is real small but the necessities is there so everything is fine for us. We tried the shabu shabu in the hotel however due to some language barrier we don't really enjoy our dinner there. Plus point is the location, the staff and the room. Everything is great!

The location of the hotel is about 3 minutes by walk from the JR station of Akabane. Since there are many JR lines passing through this station,it is very convenient to travel around the nearby areas of Tokyo. The room and bed is pretty large compared to the other hotels in the downtown of Tokyo. So, if you need a sound sleep at Tokyo, this hotel will be a good choice.

We stayed hete for 1 night prior to flying home. We were not disappointed with out choice off hotel as we dtayed in 2 other "sister" hotels during this holiday in Japan. The hotel is located a very short distance from Akabane Station, very convenient. The neighbourhood I would describe as a working neighbourhood unlike the other glotzy pkaces like Shinjuku, Ginza Ikebukuru etc. Nothing much around the area but the train station wil bring you anywhere in Tokyo and beyond. Room was comfortable but slightly smaller than the other2 Daiwa Hotels we stayed at, big enough to ,ove around without bumping into each other. Food can be found around the train station if one does not want to venture further out. Overall, a bety nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Staff are friendlyand helpful and can speak English. In fact, I feel that more Japanese are speaking english and it is getting easier to go around Japan compared to 5 years ago.

The hotel's location is awesome. I get the JR Akabane station only by 2~3 mins walks. The Akabane station is quiet good because I can reach every famous station easily which is like Ikebukuro or Shinjuku. Akabane station is suitable for the visitors who visit Tokyo first time because it's not too complicated to find a train. I like this hotel's bathroom because it is the biggest one of hotels I've ever stayed in Japan. There are useful facilities like microwaves and coin laundries. If I would like find something to eat and buy, there is a street with restaurants and cosmetic stores nears this hotel. Finally, thanks for such good hospitality.

the hotel is located 2mins from Akabane station (4 stops from Ikebukuro), with many convenience stores all around. Room was considered spacious in Japan, we could open 2 big luggage without problem. Bathroom was clean and spacious. They provided amenity items for ladies, which was a nice gesture. There is 24hr coin laundry service available too. There is a red light district across the road but it's pretty safe for foreigners, we didn't feel like it was very dodgy and non-guests can't get into the hotel at night as you need the key card to enter hotel grounds at night. So we felt safe too. Overall, we had a comfortable stay at a good price and we were thankful to have found it really last minute.
