Neighborhood
Ginza, Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.

Daiwa Roynet is indeed a worthy place to stay. A no frill, clean and modern hotel. Location is right in the heart of Ginza, easy access to subways. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly and attentive. I like the "no make up" room policy as it is eco-friendly. Have

Hotel is very well situated in a relatively quiet area. Right outside the hotel is a subway entrance. Rooms are small (as rooms in Japan usually are) but well appointed. Breakfast is served in Salvatore Cuomo, a restaurant in the hotel. Staff was very friendly and

We booked a double bed room, they give a handset free! With Net access, and you can take it out as well. It's a first of a kind service I've ever experienced.

Hello, do you have connecting rooms?
NO I do not have connecting rooms, but the hotel is clean and nice. However, it was on the other side of ginza, so it was not as convenient as you think.

You can email the hotel's concierge via their website. However there are many restaurants at that area that your problem will be which one to pick because all of them are good. We tend to just go to the restaurant that we want and we just wait for a few minutes with no problem at all. The only restaurant that we waited for about 30 minutes was Sushi ZanMai at Tsukiji Fish Market which is about 10 minutes away from the hotel. It is like a commercial restaurant owned by that guy who buys expensive Tuna. It is too popular that they dont take reservations and people tend to line up. But restaurants in Japan tend to work fast, so the turnover of customers are quicker than in the US especially around this hotel since it is close to Tokyo Station and Ginza Shopping area. If you really want to go to a special restaurant (like the one that Pres Obama went a few years ago), then you need to email that restaurant directly since they will require a lot of information from you. Hope this helps a little.
