I love mandarin oranges, but I love this mandarin even more. To start with, the level of service in Japan, is a cut above anything else in the World, but even within Japan, this is a cut above the extraordinary. From greeting to departure, the level of non-intrusive warmth and hospitality is impressive. Management is outstanding. Note, that in the... More

This is our second stay at the Mandarin Tokyo in 8 years. My only nit to pick is that the decor is getting slightly worn, but it is still very clean. The spa was brilliant, and we were treated like kings for the duration of our stay. Also love the convenience of a Metro stop under the hotel and a... More

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel is clean, quiet, and the service is impeccable. The rooms are warm, beautifully appointed, the bathrooms are luxurious, the beds and bedding so comfortable, and the views spectacular. The staff tries to accomodate you in every way possible. For example, I left a an... More

I have been very fortunate to book this hotel after the new year. Our room was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. We had the glass window overlook to the stunning view of the city where you mind and soul are placed in different planet. This is best hotel in the world from my opinion, I will definitely come back... More

I have been to this luxurious and amazing hotel with my family for 6 visits now. There is absolutely no flaw in this wonderful place. I love every aspect of the beautiful hotel from rooms to the high quality service you could expect from a Mandarin Oriental property.

We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental at the end of a Tauck tour. Located at the top of an office building, the hotel does not have a grand presence or especially impressive lobby. The elevator situation is confusing as you have to go up to the lobby and down to the room. The rooms are very nice but not spectacular.... More

Of course MO is a destination brand wherever they operate. And their management is nearly flawless. This hotel is becoming slightly dated and I was surprised to see any wear marks on room furnishings (usually their rooms always look totally spotless). That said, no complaints, nice breakfast and really good room service food. After a previous stay at the Peninsula... More

I went back and forth on whether to stay at the Mandarin or the Park Hyatt for our recent visit to Tokyo. I was very glad I choose the Mandarin. The service far exceeded my expectations. We were picked up at the airport with their car and immediately met when we arrived. Check-in was in the actual room which is... More

My second stay at Mandarin Tokyo. This trip my friends stayed elsewhere but I stayed here on my own. Very impressed with the hotel's service. The doorman downstairs already has a list of names of guests to expect. At check in was immediately given the maps and Japanese directions to the restaurants that I've booked, the staff at the taxi... More

Thank you for such and nice stay in Japan, the service was exceptional. I travel alone many times and the hotel made me feel like I had plenty of friends to talk with and share my thoughts and travel experiences with.

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
