The room was not large, but it was well used with the entire bathroom area separated by a horizontal sliding door. The bar was very good, with a good atmosphere, and the entire design and colors of the hotel were very good too. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the shower was great.

It’s a nice, hip hotel. Minimalist, offers basic amenities which we found to be of good taste and quality. Love the robe and the comfy slippers. Good location in a quiet neighborhood and close to the train station. Service was great! Front desk staff were very nice and helpful.
While the hotel is overall nice, I have to say it’s not designed for families. We were 3 adults in the room. The room is small and bed set up i.e. bunk bed style is not very comfortable. It takes effort to get on and off the bed. There’s not much space for the luggage or to move around as well. Lighting is a bit dark too in the room, this can be improved for a more homey feel. Nonetheless, I would recommend this hotel for its great aesthetic , location and service.

The rooms are simple but comfortable. Great beds, great shower & lovely toiletries supplied. Daily room serving with clean towels. Great location to trains and so easy to get around. Highly recommended. Friendly knowledgeable staff.

We stayed for a week at this hotel. From the photos online, the hotel looked great. However, the hotel is next to a main street and traffic noise is a major problem. We were unable to sleep well for the entire week. It didn't help that the windows are not sealed completely, as you could feel wind blowing in. Additionally, there is no ventilation in the room, thus dust accumulates very quickly. Given the choices of hotels in Tokyo, we would probably not book this hotel again.

It presented itself well as a design hotel but:
tiny room (impossible to open the suitcases) with huge bathroom opening practically onto the bed without courtesy light (a tragedy at night). The breakfast was poor and paid for (15 euros per person) and when I asked for an espresso they made me pay the supplement. On the 10th floor the street noise was unbearable, I imagine those on the third floor. The curtains were those of Donald Duck, at 6 the room was in full light. The only gem is the reception with very kind girls and an excellent barman at the bar (not the hotel bar but one in co-management). A decidedly negative experience.

Great hotel, well placed with fantastic food options about a 5 min walk . Subway is also 5 minutes walk.
Anyone who says the room is small has never stayed in New York ! The room was an ok size for the two of us, and very good value for money.
One criticism is there is a very, very big step into the bathroom, which wasn't great if you had any mobility issues, like myself.
But overall, great.

+1
New design boutique hotel located not too far from sky tree.
I have never seen this great taste of design hotel which is simple, cool, chic, but very sophisticated.
There is art gallery and cafeteria inside the hotel with relaxing atmosphere.
Room is cozy and big enough for one person, but more than that beds , pajama, amenities are selective and super high quality incomparable to 5 star.
I highly recommend DDD who wish to stay at design and comfortable hotel in Tokyo.

We booked a superior twin room (24sqm) that comes with a simple continental breakfast. Check-in was a breeze. The beds are very comfortable; towels provided are those used in luxury hotels; almost wanted to buy the shampoo and hair treatment as they gave the hair a silky feel. Unlike other Japanese hotels, toothbrushes, toothpaste and combs are not provided. There’s a tablet in the room to access the internet and YouTube. Nihonbashi and Bakurocho are within walking distance.

Price is reasonable, location is pretty good and the room is cosy and chic. Staff spoke good English. The hotel is quiet, you don't hear much noise. A few minutes walk away from lots of restaurants.
Room is small but cosy! No tv, table or dressing table. Basic amenities such as hair dryer, cotton bud, shaver etc are provided. There is a mini refrigerator and safety box as well. Tablet provided in the room which you can use to watch youtube and such but for some reason we couldn't use it after the 1st night (not a problem for us). Love the layout of the toilet. Shower is great and toilet is very clean!
Such a great find! I read a review saying that they had difficulty finding the entrance to the hotel. We did too! So when you see the huge golden panel, that is the door to the hotel!

DDD is in a great location, near three or four subway stations but away from the frantic pace of some more famous areas. Excellent coffee shop across the road and laneways full of little eateries and shops close by. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The rooms are compact but well designed. Highly recommended.
