The rooms are simple but comfortable. Great beds, great shower & lovely toiletries supplied. Daily room serving with clean towels. Great location to trains and so easy to get around. Highly recommended. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
We stayed for a week at this hotel. From the photos online, the hotel looked great. However, the hotel is next to a main street and traffic noise is a major problem. We were unable to sleep well for the entire week. It didn't help that the windows are not sealed completely, as you could feel wind blowing in. Additionally, there is no ventilation in the room, thus dust accumulates very quickly. Given the choices of hotels in Tokyo, we would probably not book this hotel again.
If you are into modern minimalism then this is the hotel for you. It has a modern Western vibe with a twist of Japanese customs. You get the best of both worlds. These are efficient/minimalistic studios that serve the purpose of showering and sleeping only, which is all we needed since we ate out everyday...the food is cheap and so good! The location is great since you can access all trains within a 5 min walk. You can get to the central Tokyo station in 5 minutes on the rapid Blue line that is right next to the hotel. This is a quiet neighborhood that will get you out of the hustle and bustle of central Tokyo, but still has a thriving food and bar scene at night for locals. Lastly, customer service was excellent and we had no problems as foreigners in getting the services we needed.…
We booked a superior twin room (24sqm) that comes with a simple continental breakfast. Check-in was a breeze. The beds are very comfortable; towels provided are those used in luxury hotels; almost wanted to buy the shampoo and hair treatment as they gave the hair a silky feel. Unlike other Japanese hotels, toothbrushes, toothpaste and combs are not provided. There’s a tablet in the room to access the internet and YouTube. Nihonbashi and Bakurocho are within walking distance.
My wife found this hotel online. We stayed here for 5 nights (2 people). Arrived in Tokyo around 7 pm, checked in at their basic room (14m2 one), Everything was as expected with the price and the average room size in Japan but when I took a shower, the drain was blocked so the water took forever to come down. Reported this to the reception and it's very kind of them, they give us a free upgrade to their bigger (twin room) which has the same quality but with a bigger space and beds. The amenities, service, and quality have been top-notch for us. The shower is a proper one, separated from the toilet. Some other plus points, the hotel has a good design for photo takers, also only 5 mins walk to Asakusabashi JR station which can take you to most tourist places, we just realised as well this place is close to Asakusa (Sensoji temple). 1min walk to ministop conv store. Best affordable, aesthetic and comfortable Hotel. Will def come back!…
Truly awful service. Stay away! The management of this company is awful. They are only interested in money. They were quite happy to overcharge me. Then when trying to deal with it, they clearly had no interest in helping.
Price is reasonable, location is pretty good and the room is cosy and chic. Staff spoke good English. The hotel is quiet, you don't hear much noise. A few minutes walk away from lots of restaurants. Room is small but cosy! No tv, table or dressing table. Basic amenities such as hair dryer, cotton bud, shaver etc are provided. There is a mini refrigerator and safety box as well. Tablet provided in the room which you can use to watch youtube and such but for some reason we couldn't use it after the 1st night (not a problem for us). Love the layout of the toilet. Shower is great and toilet is very clean! Such a great find! I read a review saying that they had difficulty finding the entrance to the hotel. We did too! So when you see the huge golden panel, that is the door to the hotel!…
DDD is in a great location, near three or four subway stations but away from the frantic pace of some more famous areas. Excellent coffee shop across the road and laneways full of little eateries and shops close by. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The rooms are compact but well designed. Highly recommended.
We stayed for 3 nights at this amazing , new and friendly hotel . Everything is brand new . Bed is comfortable and fluffy , bathroom is great size with good products . They provide great quality pjs . Staff is helpful , and speaks fluent English , location is good , it is just around the subway and JR . You can get directly to Narita airport from there , no transfer . The cafe in the lobby is amazing as well as their croissants. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here . Best value per money ( we payed 75 usd a night ) . Congratulations to this amazing hotel, we had a very pleasant stay .
After deciding to make a quick trip to Tokyo and not really knowing where to start with sleeping arrangements, we decided on this hotel due to our budget, length of stay and its access to public transportation. We couldn't have chosen a better place. From the moment of arrival we knew that this was a special place. The staff was so courteous and cordial that we immediately felt at home. For such a short stay of only two days, the hotel and it's staff exemplified the city and country we chose to visit. The room at the hotel are minimalist but modern. Our room had no television which really wasn't an issue because we weren't in there much anyway. The room had sort of a quiet luxury and very nice beds. The bathrooms are gorgeous with a separate shower area. The hotel is very near many of the subway entrances as well a within walking distances of quite a few city attractions. We will definitely return to this hotel for future visits.…
