I went to Japan as a sold traveller. My friend told me about the area. I found this place on Expedia and was pleasantly impressed. It was clean and well maintained. It has no frills but in a great location. The rooms didn’t have a wardrobe but was very nicely decorated.

We really liked this hotel. It I located in a great location and if you book during a weekend the Chuo-Dori is shutdown to cars and becomes pedestrian walkway. We found it quiet in a busy location and the staff friendly. The shower is amazing as it’s a rain shower set up. The sink was located next the bed which was a little weird but it didn’t bother us. The room was equipped with a black out wall which was cool. I found the breakfast one of our best throughout our travels. I would stay here again.

I've been staying at the Royal Park Canvas Ginza 8 for a week. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent, close to Ginza shops, restaurants, and the Ginza and Shimbashi stations. A very good choice!

The hotel is very comfortable, it’s modern and trendy. It’s a very close walk (7 minutes) to Shimbashi station. The breakfast was good. There were a few things on the menu that we weren’t crazy about (eggs and beans) but we asked to have the eggs made alone. The rooms are small which is very typical apparently, and we managed just fine with our suitcases! The bathroom was spacious, the safe and fridge are in the bathroom cabinets and drawers. They also give you a little bag to fill with their selection of toiletries from the lobby which was a cute idea. I’d definitely stay there again. We didn’t spend much time in Ginza... I actually think it doesn’t really matter where you stay in Tokyo cause you really end up commuting the entire day anyway if you plan to see everything. It’s a quiet neighborhood though and there are nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. But again, there are bars and restaurants in nearly every main area. The advantage of this area mainly is a quiet evening as opposed to Shinjuku or Shibuya for example. And the room has a black out sliding door on window, there’s one firm pillow and one soft one for both preferences...

Stayed here 4 nights. Took awhile to reach this hotel from the Tokyo train station, not bcs it is located far away, but because it is a newly opened hotel, the taxi chauffeur who drove us was unfamiliar with it, even though we gave him the street name in japanese. He even called the hotel himself and asked other chauffeur. Hotel is located at the side street of the main road of Ginza. We were greeted by friendly receptionist. Lobby/reception area is nog that big, which attached to the bar/drinking area. Our room is on the 10th floor. Too bad the size of the room is very small. Hardly a space to move around our beds. Since we hv booked a room for 3, there was hardly a space to keep our 3 big suitcases. We hid 2 suitcases under our beds, in order to create more space for us to move around in the room. Everything looks and smells new. Bathroom is small, has both separate shower and bath. Bathroom is equipped with shampoo, soap and hair conditioner. the rest of the toiletries can be collected at the reception-besides the front desk (toothbrushes, shavers, hair brushes, etc). PJ's are also provided in the room for guests' convenience. Nothing interesting to see outside from our hotel's room, only the top/roof of other adjacent buildings. There is laundry room to wash yr dirty clothes. We didn't use that facility though. Good location. Both to shop and to eat out. The closest subway is about 10 minutes away by foot. Hotel doesn't provide the suitcase delivery service (ta-q-bin), but we can drop our suitcases at the nearby drop-point which is just next door. The staff's, even though don't speak english very well, are very friendly and helpful. When we continued our trip fro tokyo to osaka, we found out that we had left a small item behind which we checked out from the hotel, a quick mailed sent to the hotel, got reply almost immediately and they sent the forgettable item on the same day to our hotel in osaka (at our costs of course). The hotel's staff quick action in this matter was much appreciated.
