If you're going to propose to get married in a hotel in Tokyo, please let it be the Peninsula. With stunning views of Ginza and the Imperial Palace, the Peninsula is an oasis of perfection in the epicentre of Tokyo. The concierge's assistance to prepare long stemmed roses in the room upon arrival accompanied by a personal love note set... More

Great location, within easy walk to Ginza and is well connected by a rail and subway. Upon arrival I was lead straight to my suite, the check in was done in my suite and it was completed in 5 mins. The room is well designed, comes with luxury amenities that pamper our stay. Staffs are friendly and efficient. Highly recommended... More

We had a palace/park view room on the 20th floor. Well worth the premium. Room was very spacious and the lighting was fantastic. Service was impeccable! Only disappointment was the lobby area which was dominated by the day cafe. Had cocktails in Peter on the 24th floor. Great views of the palace in the evening.

I've stayed at the hotel a few times before for business but this was the first for a leisure trip. The location of the hotel is convenient as it is right above of the Hibiya subway station, at the end of Ginza and Marunochi area. Peninsula standards for room (very spacious for Japan standards) and facilities don't disappoint including a... More

We chose the Peninsula Tokyo for our recent honeymoon in Japan. We could not have been happier with our experience. We were greeted by the kind and attentive staff who informed us that because we were celebrating our honeymoon, we had been upgraded to a suite on the 23rd (top) floor. The room was spectacular. It had 10-12 foot ceilings... More

Amazing service, sophisticated. Pleasant surprises at every turn. Every one in the staff is detailed oriented. I found only one negative : no lobby bar and no comfortable place in the lobby area to seat and wait. The lobby area is used up by one of their restaurants.

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
