I stayed at the Peninsula in Tokyo for the first time on a 3-day business trip. The hotel is centrally located, about a 15 minute walk from Tokyo Station and a 5 minute walk from the Imperial Palace. The hotel lobby is beautiful, and features a cafe/restaurant and some upscale shops. Where to start? I was upgraded to a park... More

I stayed in Peninsula 6 times , I'll still come more and more in the next visits to japan , the best of everything room / lobby / spa & gym / services / friendly staff and location . Also the view toward the guardian is insane besides walking distance to metro and JR train station .

As of the writing of this review, I had previously rated 16 hotels 5-bullseyes. The Peninsula Tokyo gives me the urge to go back and downgrade each of those experiences because they cannot compare. Every single aspect of the Peninsula Tokyo, including the price, is premium. No detail is ignored and everything about the hotel is laid out in a... More

As Annie Lennox once said, I've traveled the world and the Seven Seas, and it doesn't get much more plush, more inviting, more welcoming, and more comfortable than The Peninsula Tokyo. Forget the "Heavenly Bed" at Westin, this was the most comfortable bed ever, with a perfect comforter, down pillows, and smooth perfect white sheets. I could write volumes on... More

Incredible room...large, spotless, perfect sheets, comfortable beds, large bathroom, excellent amenities, quick laundry service etc etc. Excellent views of the palace Gardens and easy to get to anywhere on foot and subway. Staff a little on the clinical side.

We have stayed at a few Peninsula Hotels and decided to choose this one for our trip to Japan. We really enjoyed the Peninsula in Hong Kong and have stayed there many times. The Peninsula in Tokyo itself is fairly nice but a bit dated. The decor in the room can use some updating...we stayed in a suite overlooking the... More

I stayed here for two nights on business and enjoyed a comfortable stay. Location is excellent with shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms were nicely decorated and was in a good condition. Concierge service was very good and recommended good restaurants and shops. There's an ippudo ramen place nearby which was great for a quick lunch. I came back late one... More

I travelled with a well behaved 6 year old. This hotel went out of the way to make my family but particularly my child welcome. He was super excited to get a small welcome gift in the room and loved doing the hotel quiz/treasure hunt. The hotel felt quite personal even though it was large. In a good area with... More

We usually choose to stay at the Peninsula for the service and location. They also have some thing new each time for us to try. One time was ride around the neighborhood in a hotel owned Rolls Royce. This time was a ride around in their pen bikes. It is a motorized tricycle that works like a moped bike/Segway. The... More
