It was difficult to choose amongst Tokyo's luxury hotels - each seems to have something to recommend it. However, we were ultimately very pleased with our choice of the Peninsula. It is ideally located in walking distance to the Ginna area as well as the...More

Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular

Not really. That is what so surprising about Pennisula. The lobby is a restaurant rather then a lounge bar where you can meet people. They do a higher restaurant on the side which might serve as one. If your taking business center or room where you get coffee you might want to call?
I was surprised. For meeting guests and high end people, the oriental and Aman is far more impressive.
