Stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to our car rental return location, and also for the airport limousine shuttle bus service. Room is quite small , and no idea why they place a massage chair in there leaving barely any space to walk Décor of the room is abit old . But the bed is comfy & hotel... More

It's been two years since we last stayed at Dai-Ichi and its ranking has dropped quite a bit. After our one night stay this time, it is not hard to see why. The main problem is the noise as it is located directly opposite elevated rail tracks. While trains are infrequent after midnight, during the day and evening Japanese trains... More

Hotel is comfortable, room was larger than what I was expecting, excellent wifi connection, staff is friendly with acceptable English skills, restaurant met my needs and within 10 minutes walking distance of the Tokyo station. Explored the Ginza district directly to the East and was impressed. Great first experience with a wonderful city.

“This is the worst hotel I have ever been!” Worst hotel I stayed at in all of japan. I am 100% sure that I requested a non-smoking room. I was assigned a room and was horrified the moment I entered, the stink almost took my breath. I went to the lobby and complained immediately and was told "sorry, there are... More

Stayed 3 nights and looked to extend 1 more night because of a severe typhoon had hit Tokyo causing many of the trains out of service. The response of the hotel was to not be helpful or show concern but to up the room rate more than ¥10,000 ! Absolutely disgusting. Even when calling and explaining there was a rate... More

The hotel is located in Central Tokyo, namely the Ginza district and close to the metro station and the Airport Limousine Bus. The service / staff is even for Japan very friendly and service oriented and has good english skills. The rooms are big, clean and air-conditioned as is the bath. One advantage is the the Dai-Ichi is the part... More

Very friendly staff, clean, ok rooms and good breakfast. Some might find the rooms facing the trains noisy, but I was not bothered. I actually enjoyed watching the Shinkansen pass outside our room. The gym was a little expensive, but if you have time to go between 8 and 10 am, you get a discount (1000 yen per person). The... More

This was a pretty good option in Tokyo. Great location, accommodating staff, super clean and good breakfast. However, if you prefer a spacious room then book somewhere else. Rooms as tidy but quite small. Though I will probably stay here again due to the location.

Situated in Shinbashi district, and very close to railway and subway station, it's easy to reach almost all Tokyo. Hotel is nice, and pretty well maintained (Japanese standard), with spacious and comfortable rooms. Ours was facing the railway just on the other side of the road, but not very noisy. Bathroom and linen were clean and fresh, but unfortunately in... More
