I have been going to this hotel each time I am in Tokyo for a long time. The hotel looks at the river and the Emperors Palace gardens and has magnificent views of Tokyo. Very nice staff who all speak English. Nice restaurants in the hotel. Good breakfast served to the table. Pleasant and nicely decorated rooms.

Upon check-in, the staff were very professional & helpful. We were presented with wifi code, room keys and breakfast voucher. The view from the 15th floor is amazing. The room & bed was spacious for Tokyo standards. The only criticism I could suggest was that there was no porterage offered and one would expect it given the room rate per... More

I don't normally bother reviewing places that have hundreds of other reviews preferring instead to review places that need (and deserve) the attention. In this case, however, I am making an exception not because of the hotel itself but because of its location. The hotel's accommodation is, certainly, more than adequate - good a/c, clean rooms and lobby area and... More

Highlights: Wonderful view, very good value, staff were accommodating to my requests (in particular to helping me forward my luggage to my next hotel for a small fee). Downsides: Only main thing to mention would be that if you're staying long-term then the breakfast will quickly get boring. It however is nice and fairly fulfilling. Otherwise the hotel met all... The Japanese room is a bit small for three persons. After laying the mattresses on the tatami, there is almost no space for sitting. Also, there are not many restaurants and shops nearby the hotel. The bathroom is big and there is an additional wash basin outside the bathroom. The room has a great view of the Imperial Palace garden.... More

This hotel was amazing, for such an affordable price it felt so luxurious! We stayed in another area of Tokyo when we first arrived and then came to this hotel, and it was as if we were in another city! Right near the imperial palace which was amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spotless and... More

The hotel was better than I thought it would be, room was big enough for me, always cleaned, staff friendly enough, could really improve on the breakfast, lots of restaurants around to eat at, the beds are hard but no harder than any other Asian hotel I have stayed at,

Hanzomon station is right across the street! Quality affordable Japanese food (Tempura Don; Yakitori; Sushi) where locals eat are within walking distance! Coffee shops and 24hr stores scattered around. Quiet area. Stayed here twice, and will stay again next time!

We stayed two nights in this hotel. Easy access from airport with Airport Limousine buses from Narita to Tokyo Palace hotel + a short taxi ride (approx 1200 Yen for the taxi). We had two rooms, one ordinary western style and one Japanese style. Beds are not very comfortable. Clean room, but small. Great view from the rooms. Friendly and... More

Having stayed at the hotel for 5 nights two things have given ma a lasting impression. The first is a bad back, although the beds are firm (to my liking) they are uncomfortable, coupled with heavy pillows I did not get much sleep. Second, the hotel is boring and very beige! Don't get me wrong the hotel is in a... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighborhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
