Kanda, Akihabara, Ochanomizu
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.

First, let me comment on the rooms at BnA STUDIO - the art is AMAZING. We stayed in the RESPONDER room, designed by 81Bastards collective. The room itself is very large by Japan's standards and the amenities are excellent. There is even a washer/dryer! The staff is super friendly and cool. Akihabara itself is a lively district, but the hotel is off the beaten path so you can enjoy your stay without the noise.

We stayed in the Athletic Park room with our two daughters and had a wonderful time! There were great touches like umbrellas, coffee, and cool bath products. The entrance is through a co-working space in the ground floor and everyone there was super friendly. The Ochanimizu JR station took us everywhere we needed to go and Akihabara was fun the explore. Thanks!! We’d love to come back.

First we came into the nicely modern hall looking for the reception. it felt you come into a living museum whith visitors. you don't actually know who is doing what, artist, receptionist, cook etc. I was irritated the first view but then understood the concept of it. the entire house is a museum. Our room was very cozy, the WiFi worked well and you felt at home. a big walkable shower was in the bathroom. The area, Akihabara, is modern, trendy and young. if you want to be in the old area, go to Ginza, but Akihabara is really nice, quiet and has also Shrine to visit. around the area you will find lots of electronic shops (also with old PC, Laptop, HiFi devices from the 80's aso). the little prepay kitchens are amazing, you buy the ticket from the vending machine and go in. FANTASTIC fresh local food for less money. this is real Japan. Back to the hotel. if you want to live in a fancy area, with artistic rooms, then this Hotel is the right one. If we go back to Tokyo we will book again. Best regards Peter S. Philipp

I stayed in the Wonder Park double with a friend. It's spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and, of course, visually stunning. I'd highly recommend checking out the videos behind each room if you're interested in staying (find them on their website) since they're all so unique and interesting. Moreover, the amenities (laundry, spacious bathroom, kitchen) are very welcome. The staff was also really friendly and helpful.
