Kanda, Akihabara, Ochanomizu
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.

I chose Richmond because of its proximity to Tokyo Dome where I was attending an event. But it proved to be a good choice for more reasons than this. The hotel is well situated near the train stations, convenient shops and restaurants. It appears to be well maintained and staff from the reception to the cleaning team are hospitable and take much pride in their work. Despite approaching the reception numerous times regarding travel directions, they always remained calm and helpful. The room I had was well designed and generous for one person (and could comfortably take 2). It was cleaned each morning with meticulous attention. I had absolutely no trouble moving around Tokyo via the train stations close to my hotel. Strongly recommend.

Every time I am in Tokyo with my kids - we choose this hotel! Location is just the best! Subway lines, shopping centre LaQua, Tokyo Dome City Attractions ( go to a baseball game!!), Space museum, nice family restaraunts - this is all literally just several metres from the hotel. Big supermarket is in the same building with the hotel. You can buy groceries or beauty products or some simple clothes like socks or hats for the kids )). If you are a sports fan - sports bar is also just across the street. You really can't go wrong with this hotel!

We had an excellent 4 night stay at the Richmond Hotel, Suidobashi in early October 2018. There were 2 adults and 2 children and we felt that the room was comfortable for our needs. It's location is excellent for the following reasons: - The hotel is directly above a Don Quijote discount store - very convenient! - Across the road is an amusement park which is great for the kids. - Across the road is a shopping centre. - Close to Suidobashi train station. There is also a nice restaurant under the hotel that does a good breakfast at a reasonable price. Overall, I consider the hotel a very good one - highly recommended.

Location is next to Tokyo Dome where lost of attractions and shops are available. 2 stations away from Akihabara and near to hotel not only train but alos several subway are also available. By taking only one subway you can reach to Ginza also. The entrance floor there is a big shop available where you can find everything including food as well as electronics, medicines etc with very convenient price. We enjoyed in this hotel, the reception staff were very friendly, helpful and ready to solve all issues with smile. The room was big enough, I recommend to stay in room no 5 in each floor, like 805. The room was very clean.
