My wife wanted to visit real Don Quijote windmills. Consuegra is the place to do that. And if you want a taste of true Spanish rural charm and hospitality, La Vida de Antes is a great place to stay. The hotel is currently being expanded to include a restaurant that should open in November. The rooms are adequately spacious with...

What a lovely place! With it's patio and courtyard, it isolates you from the world. Rooms are big of the rustic type with a large bed on the second floor. Downstairs, there is a sitting area with a fridge and a microwave. The Molinos are one minute ride! Had great local wine and cheese. A great choice!

We came to visit a friend at the last minute, and booked this hotel online. On arrival it is very non assuming, tucked away in a side street just off the centre of town. It offers secure parking around 50 metres away. The hotel is a very old traditional building, which has been tastefully converted in to a hotel. Some...

Beautiful tranquil, traditional Spanish hotel, great location in a lovely village and very conveniently placed to visit the fantastic windmills. Staff were super friendly and the place was spotlessly clean. Rooms were large and well equipped. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with a pool. Breakfast was continental with a good selection. We chose the hotel because it allowed pets,...

We enjoyed the beautiful, clean, and warm rooms of this rural hotel. Parking was easy on the street in front of it. Breakfast was the usual light affair. We had a misunderstanding about the price when we checked out that was finally resolved to our satisfaction.

The rooms are all very spacious and comfortable, I slept like a baby. I travelled with friends of different nationality sand the breakfast we...

We stayed for two nights, the room was very large and comfortable, with a well appointed bathroom - we had a spa bath! Secure off street parking was available. The hotel was very atmospheric and had bags of character - we loved the fixtures and furnishings. It was very clean. The staff were helpful and informative. We would definitely stay...

This is a charming 9 room hotel that was a former country manor from the late 19th century. It was restored several years ago to upgrade to modern standards while still preserving the colorful tiles, antique furniture and character of the architecture. We had a large room with a great, comfortable bed, and the air conditioning and fan system were...

A great hotel in a quiet location, Good staff who speak english and are very attentive. Not a bad breakfast for the price but the beds are abit hard so sleep may be irregular of you don't like hard beds. Overall a great stay for a couple of nites.

Don't be put off by the deserted appearance of the town, as soon as you ring the buzzer you'll be greeted by a warm and friendly owner, Paula, & a gorgeous setting within her hotel. Ceramic tiles showcase the floors, beautiful wooden furniture, an internal upper balcony in old traditional Spanish style, all before you're shown to a lovely room....
