We booked Burgate Manor Farm and all of the cottages but one for a weekend in February half term of family celebrations. Two 18th, two 30th, a 50th and a 70th Birthday plus a 25 Wedding Anniversary all in 2017! We needed the barn to congregate in and having the cottages so families can have their space too. We loved...

I'd booked the place from Monday to Friday for a fishing trip. Freezing fog for two days, bitter winds for the other two – but the cottage I stayed in was wonderfully warm! Had a lot in common with the owner, John Stallard, who was very helpful. We had free fishing on his stretch of the Avon there, but the...

So we rented 4 of the cottages which were all next to each other. We had mallard, kingfisher, grebe & teal between 25 of us. Mallard was the perfect congregational cottage and big enough for all of us. We stayed 3 nights and had such a wonderful time. There is a lovely running route through the village and good walking...

The Granary is the perfect location for a weekend celebration with friends and family. My "shindig" was a wholehearted success, in no small part because of The Granary's space, facilities and warmth. It is comfortable and cosily furnished (five sofas!) but it will all cope with houseful of guests of all ages. The kitchen is >really< well equipped...the two dish-washers...

Burgate Manor Farm is big, warm and comfortable, with a very well-equipped kitchen, robust furniture and little that could be inadvertently damaged by a houseful of exuberant children. Good walking from the door, and a huge games barn give lots of things to keep everyone occupied. A great choice for a family celebration.

We have stayed at Burgate Manor Farm several times during the October half-term with our extended family. This year we stayed in Swan Cottage. The cottages are comfortable and very well-equipped in terms of kitchen equipment, and have washing machines, TV and wi-fi. The location is ideal: very close to the New Forest, or with a public footpath running right...

We recently spent a wonderful weekend at Burgate Manor Farm we stayed in the Granary where 14 of our family joined us for a special birthday weekend. The Granary was huge, well equipped and very comfortable. It was ideal for our family gathering. The local Indian provided a wonderful takeaway meal for us on the Friday, with the local butcher...

We stayed in Appletrees cottage which is slightly away from the other cottages. It has an open plan kitchen, diner and sitting room with windows on 3 sides looking out over a field which when we were there had a mother and calf in it. It has it's own garden with bbq. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. It...

We've been twice to Burgate and enjoyed an excellent stay both times. The huge Granary barn is a great focal point for all with its piano, woodburner and massive square table that seats up to 22. The games room keeps everyone occupied when it rained and the fields at the edge of the farm were perfect for rounders. Book well...

We enjoyed our 5 day stay celebrating a family birthday in comfort. The barn coped well with our group of 14. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and there are 5 comfy sofas plus chairs in the living area. Having the open plan living in the barn keeps everyone involved, whether cooking, sitting round the large dining...
