Stayed here as part of a group. The lobby is nice but the rooms are old. Good set up for groups as they have bunk beds but the linen needs changing. The room was extremely warm. The shower needs attention. The restaurant staff is amazing.

It was like budged airline: got things done without any fanfares, provided a place to sleep, wifi and caffeine and something to eat at morning. Interior looked like original from 60's and you could here everything from next door and louder voices from even further. Luckily I had double bed for myself, being plus 180cm bed was too short for me. When found the route downtown Sarzana was easy reach by foot. Due being next to main road it was easy to reach by car and had plenty parking available. Also had supermarket next door. What made me to chose rating was safety: Not safe to get out and into on foot, it is located next to busy road without sidewalks. It also had only one fire exit at the other end of hall, with fire doors permanently opened. In case of fire there would be no way out.

This is definitely not a 5 staff place, but the service is. From reception staff, waiting staff this place is great. Rooms may be a bit 1970’s in decor but quiet and comfortable. Staff accomodate a birthday celebration and a great place for large groups (we had 39). A 5 min walk to the Piazza (Mcdonald 2 min), the carousel and gelato shops in the evening is a must. The night sky is an electric blue with the reflection from the moon and marble from Carrara.. a very beautiful place. With car parking at the hotel this is a cheap option if visiting Cinque Terre or La Spezia.

We were a large 65+ student group that essentially took over the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel was overwhelmed in my opinion but the staff did a great job in spite of that. The rooms were clean but the facility is outdated and the A/C was for the most part non-existent.

I spent only One night (11th July 2015) for the Sarzana Burlesque Festival, this was the affiliated hotel so I decided to book a single room, not really cheap at all. Room was large, maybe too much for One person: 3 single beds in it instead of a double bed as it was supposed to be. Air conditioning barely worked and I had to ask to check it out: consider outside was almost 40 celsius...full summer!! Wi-fi is free but...it doesn't work in the room...signal is too low: I asked twice to check it but no change! Furnitures are old and no minibar available, no a bottle of water inside the room! At least was clean and bed quite comfortable!!! Location is not central and you have to walk at least 20mins to reach the central square!! I suggest you to come by car because there's no any taxi service or public transports at night! Taxis stop at 11pm. So if you can't drive or walk you have to stay where you are. Even closest town of Lerici hasn't a nocturne taxi service! Unbelievable in 2015...they shouldn't have so many tourists, they don't deserve it! But that is not Hotel fault!!!
