Wearrived early evening after a long drive from Ancona. We had booked dinner prior to arriving. When we arrived the place was shut up and after a while a very dishevelled person appeared to greet us. She could not speak a word of English, could not find our reservation, and told us she had no food for dinner. Breakfast was appallingDo not visit this hotel.

The house is nicely decorated. The bathroom is very large. If you like sugary breakfast : it 's with good quality. But we did have a cold welcome and during the stay and It's more a hotel than an "agriturismo". The garden needs cleaning.

Excellent experience in this small hotel (only 5 rooms) run by the owner, who is as well a superb cook. It is in a very quiet area but not far from Sarzana city center and the seaside. Highly recommended

First of all, the owner(s) was very friendly and helpfull. Helping out with map/train timetable to Cinque Terre, where to go, where to park free in La Spezia, where to eat in Sarzana, what beach is the best if you don´t want too many people, etc. We stayed 3 days. Sarzana, the town nearby is a small but ok town to go for a late dinner. When we stayed there was a marked, with everything from used kids toys to antiques. We had one day at the beach, only 10 minutes drive. One day to Cinque Terre, when we drove to La Spezia and parked, took the train to the first of the five cities. I guess it is easier to stay at this place if you have a car, since its a long walk to the train station. Car parking is no problem. Wifi was unstable, but worked. The rooms are nice. The first night we had another room, and the AC was not running all night so it was a little hot. Breakfast was like any other hostel/motel in Europe, simple but ok. All inn all we can highly recommend this place, but I guess it can be little tricky if you don´t go by your own car.
