It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this rustic but well equipped camp with the family. We had the whole area to ourselves and were looked after brilliantly by Alois and family. Griffons is peaceful, beautiful and pleasing to a wary soul. The splash pool is a delight in the heat and outdoor showers brings you close to nature. We saw numerous game on the farm and adjacent Marakele Reserve It was time well spent and we will surely visit again.

We enjoyed a very good stay at Griffons. The area - and the camp - is beautiful. We are especially appreciative for Alois' reception, service and care, thanks so much Alois! The beds can do with an upgrade, but otherwise all great.

This was the first lodge on our SA trip, and it was a perfect start! Rob and Thelma made us really enjoy our time with Safari trips, bush walks and many helpful tips about our journey. Their hospitality was great, dinner was amazing. Wildlife right in front of the cottages, zebras, wildebeests, leopards. No reception, no WiFi here, but no better way to get your head free. Could not have booked a better lodge.

My wife and me stayed 2 nights in the Griffons Bush Camp and it was a very unique and nice experience. We were very happy to meet Rob, Thelma and Alois who take a lot of care of us. It was a very familiar experince we had and they always had time to explain interesting things to us. It was like being guests at a friends home. We hope to see you three again. Much Greetings from Germany Anne & Ulrich
