We decided late Tuesday night after a meeting to go for a drink, when we arrived we was told we could still order a meal. It was 9.15pm . We had a lovely meal, staff were great too. Definitely worth a visit, we will be going back .
Lovely pub with great food, comfy seating area, reasonably priced and free WiFi, huge gin menu, very friendly - bar snacks weren’t starting until 6.30pm but we arrived at 5.45 and they started them early for us. Nice beer garden, definitely worth a visit
Recently went to the Rose and Crown for Sunday roast....it was only okay and not nearly as good as other local pubs that I've been to, so rather disappointing. There wasn't many vegetables or roast potatoes , but the beef was okay...no extra gravy offered.
So disappointed with the food we had on our last visit - we had always enjoyed previous meals but feel that the promise of fresh locally sourced produce is questionable. The staff were very friendly and don’t deserve to be serving this food .
