Casa de Piedra was the perfect place four our recent visit to Cuetzalen. We were a party of 3 friends and I can't say enough to recommend it. Very clean, quiet, good amenities including excellent breakfast. The hotel is very well cared for and the staff is very helpful.

We had a suite and enjoyed the call of the birds and the daily downpours. The room was very nice, just a little dark and full of the sounds of the day. What else can you expect in an old coffee warehouse in a Mexican town!

We recently stayed and experienced the graciousness of the hotel staff from the moment we came to check out the hotel through our third and fourth nigh when we were it hour power. They made sure we were well taken care of and the property itself was wonderful with tons of relaxing places to sit and a fabulous restaurant. Highly...

Beautiful boutique style hotel located 2 minutes away from the zócalo with fabulous views of the cathedral. Very romantic setting with large beds and the en suites have jacuzzis. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for romantic spot to stay in the wonderful town of Cuetzalan. All the staff are very friendly and helpful!

Even though it gets a little hot and humid at times this is about as good as it comes in the way of hotels in Cuetzalan. It is located at the bottom of one of the streets in the city near the center of this magic town. Many of the cobblestone streets are very steep and difficult for some cars...

La Casa de Piedra is ideally located only two blocks from the main square. You only have to step outside your room to see the "voladores". (The people who climb up a tall pole and then jump off and unwind in circles until they come to ground level. Really amazing!) The rooms are very clean, well appointed and the staff...

I loved all the atmosphere of this beautiful hotel. Once you arrive in Cuetzalan you will realise that "La Casa de Piedra" is the place, because everyone in the streets will try to "sell" you this hotel. Traditional place built in stone and wood, and all the furniture in wood too. Wifi, nice breakfast, friendly staff and clean. Fair price.

My wife and myself (plus some other family) visited Cuezalan in early April 2015 and stayed at this hotel - the normal rooms are nothing to write home about but we rented the largest guest suite in the hotel which for about the equivalent of CAD160/nt was a really good deal. It had a jaccuzzi and the overall room was...

This is one of those places that feels just like home.. Like you could just live here (I even went for breakfast in pj's one day and didn't feel weird) All staff are super friendly, breakfast is delicious and is very centric. Come prepared for super humid weather, even inside the rooms.
