The B&B was immaculate, the food was fabulous and the value terrific. One of the best ever. Friendly and helpful to a fault. I would strongly recommend this to anyone traveling in the area. While Kilrush is a bit of a sleepy town this B&B is well worth the visit.

The owner has a strong attention to detail, and you can see it everywhere. Nice room, comfortable mattress, fine common living room, and excellent breakfast in the veranda/bow windows with view over a very fine garden. Use this as a base to explore the Loop head peninsula: not touristy at all, but amazing. Visit Kilkee and its cliff, and drive... More

Over night stay. From the moment we entered the premises we were made very welcome. Our bikes were put away safe and secure. The room was magnificent. Where to eat was a great recommendation. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice and as much as you can eat. Would certainly like to stay there again.

We stayed one night in this very comfortable B and B on a cycling trip through Ireland. This property is beautiful and very well kept. Ethna, the hostess, is very friendly and helpful. The garden is beautiful with a nice covered gazebo area where some of us enjoyed a picnic. The rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds and facilities.... More

I loved EVERYTHING. Etna it's like the perfect host that you can't find anywhere else. She was super helpful and polite, her house it's so beautiful and incredibly clean and shining. Breakfast was amazing, she offers you different options and everything that we got was stunning. Perfect location, just few minutes walk to the town centre. There is parking available.

We stayed one night at Hillcrest View and had an enjoyable stay. The room was large and nicely decorated. The bed was large and comfortable. The sunroom overlooking the garden was a wonderful place to have breakfast and the breakfast itself was filling and tasty. An Irish gentleman staying there the same time as us told the B&B hostess that... More

Wonderful and peaceful location, beautiful hosts and great breakfast. What more could one want? Suitable for tourists and travelers passing through and better still for bike riders after a long day on the road.

We stayed three nights in his b&b. We had a nice and clean room and slept well in comfortable beds. Each day we got a delicious breakfast. Our host (Ethna) was very friendly and informative. We really enjoyed our stay in Hillcrest View lodge.

We arrived late and without booking after missing the ferry in Killimer and Ethna was very welcoming and helpful. The room was tidy and cosy and the bed really comfortable. Best sleep of our vacation. Ethna made us a great breakfast before we had to leave. If I come back one day in the area I will stay there again... More
