This hotel was booked as part of a Brittany ferries holiday deal. Great hotel central to the old town. Lovely breakfast especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. WIFI a bit sketchy but good in communal areas. Parking 10€ per night but as 2 couples on motorbikes shard a parking space made it more reasonable.

This high class '2*' hotel is a perfect place for a stopover or an extended stay like we had. The room we stayed in had a fantastic sea view. It was a joy to watch the surfers waiting their turn and to listen to the breakers crash on to the beach - a soothing way to go to sleep. Our... More

The hotel has a fabulous location with the entrance on one of the ancient streets and then our room had floor to ceiling windows with amazing ocean views. The whole hotel is just beautiful with a wonderful mix of old and new. And everyone was so helpful and kind.

We were there in July/August 2015. The building and the view are fantastic. The host and staff very friendly. If you searching for quite hotel in a nice town at the basque coast, that's the perfect place. By plans for coming by car my personal recommendation would be to reserve a place in the hotel garage. There are a few... More

This little basque village is amazingly beautiful, has lots of very good and well priced restaurants and offers beach, views, foody-pleasures and interesting sightseeing. The hotel has a great location, close to everything including an amazing playground with a pirate ship, and has amazing views and service. All staff members were very nice to us and helpful. Breakfast was good... More

We had a lovely room in this beautiful little hotel with a fantastic view of the ocean. We felt like we were hovering right out on the sea! In reality there is a road between the hotel and the sea, we could leave the window open at night and listen to the sound of the waves crashing on shore. The... More

Thank you Dan5124 for your review. We appreciate your comments about our staff, and the hotel. We found your comments about the village specially remarkable: Getaria as a place which is not "touristy" but "..a place where people live, work and play". In fact, this is one of our big concerns, and we do our best to preserve it. Tourism... More

Getaria was a highlight of our two week trip to Spain. Saiz Getaria was a lovely boutique property. We had two rooms, a sea view double and a superior double. The sea view double (306) was very small, but had lovely view. It was very clean and bright with a skylight in the bathroom. Our party enjoyed falling asleep to... More

We stayed for a couple of nights at this hotel and really enjoyed it. We had rooms overlooking the sea and the view was amazing. The facilities at the hotel were good. There is a lovely terrace which is great to sit on in the evening and watch the sun go down. Mikel, the owner, was very helpful advising of... More
