We had a lovely few days here. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, they made the stay all the more special. Our room was excellent - I can't believe it is only a one star hotel. I loved the spa bath in our room. We could sit in our own jacuzzi, with a view out on the coast!

The hotel is situated on the edge of the old town of Getaria. Rooms number 304 and 305 with a balcony on the third floor offer lovely sea view. But the best view is from the terrace in the hotel’s small garden high up on a cliff above the sea, where breakfast for hotel guests is served. One can feel... More

This 1 star hotel has a service and a cleanliness of a 3/4 stars hotel. First of all we left the luggage at the reception as we arrived very early and the room was not ready yet and, when we went back to the hotel, we found our luggage in the room like in 4 stars hotel. The room was... More

First time in town and being a Friday accommodation was limited. This hotel is really well located in the old town. Short walk to everything. The building is really nice but the rooms need updating. Very clean and comfortable with most things you need. In our case we needed a shower but out room came with a jacuzzi that had... More

Hotel was conveniently located but unfortunately the main coastal goes through the town right next to the hotel, and was noisy. Room was very pleasant with excellent bathroom. The highlight was the breakfasts, served on their terrace overlooking a beach. The breakfast itself was delicious - yummy omelettes, fresh squeezed orange juice and even home made cakes. A real treat.... More

The location is brilliant but hard to pull in with the car, its a short walk to the bars, restaurants and the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cosy and had all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was simple but very tasty and served with a smile. Unluckily when we were in Getaria it rained constantly... More

Dear Lucy Thank you for your review, we are glad to read that you had a lovely stay with us. So sorry about the rain, we wish we could had a remote control to control the climate, but it is impossible :(, we love serving the breakfast in the terrace so you can enjoy the view. We stayed in Getaria( which is about 2 hour drive to Bilbao) in the Basque Country as an overnight stay before catching the ferry home after touring Spain. It is well worth a visit as it has a lovely harbour, great beach and a lovely old town. The hotel was gorgeous yet was only rated a one star! Unbelievable our... More

Great place. The location is just perfect: in the very center of Getaria, 10 meters from the bus stop. The hotel is cosy and stylish/ You can enjoy the garden and have your breakfast at the terrace. The meal is good: fresh orange juice, home-made cake, tasty coffe, spanish omellete(tortilla), hamon and very good locat cheese/ Last but not least:... More

Four friends stayed here just for one night as we walked the Camino Norte and we absolutely loved it. Strong memory of walking into breakfast on a magnificent terrace looking onto the Atlantic with the smell of Madeira cake baking making us even hungrier. The family that ran the hotel could not do enough to help us and they ensured... More

We stayed at this delightful hotel on our Camino walk. It is well located being in the Centre of town. It was very comfortable and being a family run hotel, they made every effort to make sure we were looked after. The garden has magnificent sea views where we had a superb breakfast, everything home made and delicious. I highly... More
