This was our fourth visit to Camilsons and what more can we say that we have not said thrice already! My family and I are under the spell of this beautiful place. It is unique in that it offers, not music and activities, but absolute tranquility. We stayed in the rooms at the far end of the palm grove. The rooms...

We spent a day relaxing on the sun loungers at Camilsons ordering quite a few drinks and snacks. It's a lovely quiet part of the beach with a great view from the sun loungers but the service was terrible and the food very average compared to other places nearby. It was difficult to order anything with the being so bad...

This is a quiet place in South Goa, away from the usual hum-drum of the normal beaches. One can literally jump into the sea, from the room :-) Meaning to say, the place is bang-on the beach. Privacy is a key plus point for this place. Food however, is not up to the mark though. The neighbouring shacks are far...

What do you feel about a place that has a lovely location but is extremely badly maintained and understaffed? You try to overlook the shortcomings. Tough, if the white ants boring into the wood in the villa's verandah cause wood dust to fall into your tea or beer. Maybe you shift to a family room hoping it will be better....

I arrived late in the afternoon and I had at this moment no other choice. Camilsons asked 2000 rs/night. Next day he came down to 1500 rs/night. The location is very nice. The beach in front of the accommodation is beautiful. The room i very basic and the bathroom - see the photographs. Absolutly overpriced. Manager and owner are unfriendly....

We booked a family room and lasted only one day before looking elsewhere. On the plus side: wonderful location, the best hotel grounds I saw at this particular beach, a very helpful on-site staff, a dedicated on-site manager, fair price for the room. On the negative: run down and grubby rooms, intermittent electricity, broken toilet not fixed until we were...

Is it possible to love a place even more on a third visit? the answer is "Yes" if it`s Camilsons Beach Resort. We stayed in the "cottages" at the rear of the palm grove and saw that extensive renovations had been made. All windows were fitted with mosquito netting and bronze-coloured curtains compliment the cream coloured walls with gold trim....

The location is amazing, we were staying at the Baywatch Resort but came here every day. The food is fantastic and the staff amazing, so helpful really could not do enough for you. We did stay there for one night and unfortunately found the accommodation severely lacking. With a little improvement in the room this place would be fabulous.

The location of this resort is fantastic, once you are booked in all you have to do is take ten steps and you on a wonderful long stretch of beautiful beach. However, the resort itself has some serious faults. The rooms are extremely run down and more importantly are really dirty. The top floor rooms have been renovated, which is nice, although...

I have been going here for years, but now it is fading a little as there is not enough care taken to maintain it well.it needs a bit of TLC. A couple of loyal friendly staff, but generally under - resourced. Pity. Lovely spot and such potential

“A couple of staff really friendly and helpful but air of resignation about the place.... sad...wifi connections really slow and poor... lovely location, nice garden. Rooms need a bit of TLC and investment. SOund of Disco and Party from Big resort behind can be heard in back rooms, but I rather like these rooms anyway!”
