Hostel Manolo was clean and conveniently located. Family run, we were greeted by the Abuela with a good sense of humour. Pool unfortunately was closed for winter dispite the good weather. Just the same,I'd recommend it unless you're used to 5 star luxury...

Family run hotel, very friendly staff, large room, comfortable bed, fridge, balcony and close to pool. Meals provided at very competitive cost, just across the road. All in all a very nice stay and we shall return.

We have now stayed at this lovely hostal on four occasions totalling about 40+ nights. Owned and run by Josefa (mum) and daughters Maria and Isobel. This hostal is 2* but deserves more. It is ultra clean, the beds are made fresh each morning, the rooms and balcony are cleaned daily and every towel changed on a daily basis. A breakfast service is offered and there is a bar. Every room has a tv and aircon and a small fridge. The room rates are very reasonable. Always hot water in the shower/bathroom and sachets of bath gel are provided. It is but a short walk in the evening to all the bars and restaurants in Garrucha, so once you have parked outside there is no need to use it in the evening. We now would not stay anywhere else. All three and the night porter are really friendly people. Josefa has no English but Maria and Isobel can speak a little.

We stayed here one week. Super clean rooms with lots of closet and drawer space, and quiet. Big bathroom with tub and plenty of hot water and a bidet! Love a bidet! Good water pressure. Nice, friendly, smiling staff. Cute, singing, squawking, whistling, cockatoo. Sweet little senior doggie. Well furnished rooms with soothing colors. Big balcony. Good breakfast with homemade tomato jam, toasted baguette, fruit marmalade, delicious coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice all for a good price. We only got wifi if we sat by the door in our room, otherwise good access in cafeteria. Could use more shelves in bathroom and more hooks to hang things on. Close to town. Didn't like the restaurants on the beach strip. Rip off. Otherwise the local ethnic places were good. Excellent seafood, salads, and wine.

We booked a room here for a couple of nights on our way from Mijas Pueblo to the ferry at Denia. What a delightful surprise Hostal Manolo turned out to be. The room was very clean and airy, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom spotless. An added bonus was the balcony overlooking a quiet road. Nothing negative to say about our stay here. A bargain.
