We already have a favorite place every time we go to Mallorca. The property is beautiful, the gardens are very well maintained and the hotel and rooms have a very special period charm. The attention from the staff is unbeatable, super familiar. They provide many facilities and services so you can enjoy the beach and their attention to everything we have needed. Also, if you have the opportunity to have a barbecue themed dinner night, it is very special. We will return and we will recommend you for sure!

Absolutely gorgeous property run by a very warm and welcoming hostess, Apolonia. Huge value for the price, friendly staff and very accommodating. Make sure you hire a car in Mallorca as distances can be long and taxis are limited in peak season. Breakfast is fantastic, as well.

A beautiful place, great for relax. The owners and staff are amazingly helpful and caring. They definitely help you enjoy your vacation. The area is one of the most beautiful in Mallorca, close to nice villages+beaches. The perfect place!

This is a beautiful, historic and sensitively restored finca. Very quiet and nothing really to do except laze by the pool, which is amazing - infinity edge on two sides and set in an olica grove! Ideal for relaxing and peace and quiet. You will need transport to visit nearby beaches and restaurants as per other reviews, although we did walk into Campos and visit a restaurant there which was good. The charm of this hotel is that it feels more like staying in someone's home - no generic hotel info pack or minin bar in the room, the staff are invisible but do seem to appear, Mr Benn-like, when you need them. Also, apart from at breakfast and round the pool, you don't really bump into the other guests as its such a large property. Highly recommend it.

Son Cosmet is a converted farmhouse and stables. They've been up and running about five years. It is about a mile from the quiet town of Campos, in the South Eastern corner of Mallorca. You arrive down a very long, straight driveway lined with olive trees. This is a beautiful, relaxing place, with bags of character. The rooms are spacious and well sound insulated, with good curtains and blackouts. Breakfast is served on the terrace and it's a lovely way to start the day, there is a very good buffet on offer and friendly staff. The gardens around the house are immaculate, and the swimming pool is fantastic, big enough for a proper swim, not just splashing out. There isn't much to do, we just took a big pile of books and the iPod. You definitely need a car. There is a limited dinner menu at Son Cosmet, and the food is nice, but you are better off heading to C'an Pep in Sa Rapita, a few miles away. Campos is pretty quiet, though there is a good market on Saturday morning. Our fellow guests were all German, who seem to know a good thing when they see it. The staff speak Spanish, German and little bits of English. This is a top place to get busy doing nothing.

This is a very relaxed and laid back hotel. Good swimming pool with shade, nice building with lovely views over the countryside. Lovely bedroom and furnishings with lovely old pictures and furniture. If you like horses you will love it here! The owner has a stable of. I believe. over 20 horses which race with a small trap and trot! You can watch them practicing! They are magnificent. Food is good and service also good. The only drawback is the flies which I guess are drawn to the horses. They also provide a pass to the local beach at Sa Rapita so you can park for free. Nice beach, there is also an excellent fish restaurant at Sa Rapita (first on the right as you drive in). Well worth a visit.

We had been in Son Cosmet 3 - 4 times between 2007 and 2009. But after moving to the US we never had a chance to experience it under Damia's and Apolonia's management. This year we went back there to celebrate our 5th year wedding anniversary with roughly 20 friends and had a great time. The team's attention to detail and providing the service we needed (restaurant bookings, late night beverage service, etc) above and beyond what they are set up to do was amazing. The best part though is that Son Cosmet is such a beautiful, calm and relaxing place that serves to us as a spa for our soul.

Son Cosmet is a beautiful, peaceful and wonderfully renovated finca (internally it looks like a museum) within a large property, located close to Campos. We just spent 3 nights there, but could have easily spent longer, as it was very enjoyable. It feels like you are not on a touristic island like Mallorca! If you're looking for silence, nature and a beautiful place where to stay, then Son Cosmet is the right address for you. Be aware that if you don't have a car, then you'd better look for another accomodation. We were offered the duplex room in the tower, which has a fantastic terrace. The rooms and the communal areas are very well kept and extremely clean. The swimmingpool is a real gem. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much, it is very generous and delicious. We did not have dinner in the finca, so I can't judge the cuisine. The staff are helpful and nice. The finca offers also a very private and convenient access to a nearby popular beach, which gets crowded during weekends. Therefore having at our own disposal a parking place in front of it it's very useful and appreciated (it means you don't have to spend hours searching for a parking place!). Thanks to Son Cosmet we experienced a different and quiet Mallorca. So good!

I really enjoyed my recent stay at Son Cosmet and nothing was too much trouble. The property is very well cared for and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was very good although dinner wasn't one of it's better strengths. You have to place your dinner order before 1pm for eating between 8-9pm and it was lukewarm and not very tasty. We found other restaurants in the area so did not need to eat a second time at the hotel. The hotel has stables and around six horses and this led to a large amount of flies present at all times. The flies were there to annoy you at all times of the day. I would recommend taking an electrical 'zapper' if you plan to stay there for more than 30 minutes! It would make the stay a LOT more pleasurable if the proprietor took this approach and put one in each room.

This was my 4th stay at Son Cosmet and I love it more every time! It’s reminiscent of being a guest at a friend’s beautiful country estate. The buildings have been carefully restored with great taste and flair without being overdone. With its relaxed vibe this is the perfect place to unwind away from the crowded streets of Palma. The couple who run the hotel have a wonderful sense of hospitality and are always available to assist guests in making their stay as perfect as possible. There’s a gorgeous pool with lots of space for lounging and sunbathing. Meals are served only on Wednesday and Sunday evenings and the food is simply presented and superb. The local wine is excellent. As the property is in the countryside renting a car is a good idea if guests want to explore this lovely part of Mallorca. We will be back!
