No one there when we arrived. Had such and returned to notice a poorly placed note with a number to call. "Host" arrived and shows us at our room. The room was dark and dungy right next to the entrance. The small refrigerator in the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. We left.

Once we got there it was wonderful. The old part of the city is for resident vehicles only. We asked one of the locals for advice as to how to get there and the next thing we knew there was a red Smart car leading us to a lot to park and helping us get to the hotel. The hotel...

Converted house on hilltop with views over the town and steep river valley. Comfortable rooms with good bathrooms. Perfectly good breakfast. Highlight though is the really friendly attitude of the owners including a welcoming glass of fizz.

Probably the best compliment I can pay this hotel is that it very much felt as though we were staying in someone's home rather than a hotel! Every building in this town is very, very old but the owners here make sure that you have every modern facility. Yes difficult to find and even harder to find somewhere to park...

Not the easiest place to find but the trouble is worth it. Coming from Teruel go through the tunnel about 200m on take a sharp right which leads up a steep hill where you will find the car park. Walk a few hundred meters into the village and Tio Americano is on the right down some stairs. The welcome is...

We spent two lovely nights here. The town is beautiful and well worth visiting and we wanted to stay in somewhere that fit the historical and charming location. This is a great place to stay - well located, clean and friendly. The lead lady, Angelina was very friendly and helpful. Her brother helped us find the place and was helpful throughout. Everything worth seeing is in walking distance. That helped since cars are not allowed:-) The breakfasts are simple and nice. The wi fi works in the room....

We felt warmly welcomed when we arrived at this lovely cozy hotel. Whilst the owners spoke Spanish and a small amount of English, we were able to communicate effectively. They were lovely. Booked room with balcony and view ofcity and river.Given room number 1.No city view or riverview.Room only suitable for 1 person not 2.Bed sinks in middle.Better accommodation in city. Will be asking for reduced price due to non supply.Would not stay again.This is our 18th trip to Spain spoiled our visit to Albarracin.
