We have stayed at the Hospes Amerigo a few times over the last few years. Service is always good. Rooms are starting to look a little tired and the glass door to our toilet had come off its runners (before we took possession of the room). As we were there for only 2 days we did not complain as I am sure due to covid they had enough challenges, but we were slightly disappointed the normally high standards were not quite met.

We stayed at the Hospes in March 2020. We enjoyed a great stay, staff is excellent and the location is perfect, a few meters away from the city center and not far from the beach and local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again if we have the choice to make it to Alicante again

I have stayed at Hospes Amerigo on 5 occasions now. It never lets me down. The reception area is staffed by some of the friendliest and professional people you could hope to find. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable, particularly the bed. I would recommend a room on floor 3 with a view up to the castle. The sun terrace, on 4th floor, is a haven of peace and tranquility in a busy Spanish City. Alicante is a great place to visit and often gets overlooked/bypassed by tourists travelling elsewhere but it is a great place to visit and to spend a holiday. Stay at Hospes Amerigo, you won't be disappointed!

Pro: Value. Location. Stuff. Bed. Clean and new. Good Covid attention without cutting back. Pretty quite room Con: Con:: The bathroom is mix of new and “refurbished”. So everything is new but the bathtub is narrow and old (but clean). No complementarity coffee anywhere (besides tea & instant coffee at the room). Parking was a little expensive at 29€ so I parked in one of the many parking garages nearby nearby for 12€ /24h . I also skipped breakfast for 19€ .

A magical one night stay! Firstly I would like to thank your amazing team of employees for making our experience exceptional. I have to thank Elena on reservations for helping with all my emails and questions. You were so helpful. Javier for your attentive, friendly and highly professional manner. And to Patrick for looking after us at dinner. We stepped into a luxurious hotel. The smell was amazing in the reception. Greeted with a lovely welcome and a glass of fizz. We booked a superior suite, which we would highly recommend with an adjoining suite for our daughter. It was huge. We felt like royalty. Spotless room. Our view of the castle was just magical. We had the Sunday brunch with live jazz. Lovely food and experience. After a lovely lunch we relaxed on the beautiful rooftop sunbathing and swimming overlooking stunning views. It's like stepping back into history with a twist of modern. The breakfast was superb. Table service. Variety and most of all delicious. The hotel is a few steps away from the beautiful port which is blissful. Stunning views and restaurants. The streets are full of quirky little bars and restaurants. All within walking distance. Wether your looking for 1 night, a weekend or a long stay here you will not be disappointed. If your staying for a short visit then go all out with a superior suite. It's so worth it. We cannot wait to come back. I'm literally online now to make a reservation. 100% 5*

Dear Jennyrosedacey, The Hospes Amérigo's team would like to thank you for trusting us in your last visit to Alicante, in one of our exclusive Junior Suites. We are thrilled to learn that you enjoyed your stay and could experience the genuine hospitality and service from Elena, Javier, Patrick and all our staff and also the delicious cuisine from our Chef Javier Tortosa and his team. As you mentioned, every Sunday from 1:00p.m. to 3:30p.m. we have a Brunch with live jazz, that has become very popular and has very good feed back from all our guests. It is a pleasure to know that you could enjoy not only the food but also the great ambiance in our Bistro Amérigo. Again we would like to thank you for your very kind comments and your stay. Looking forward to have the pleasure of welcoming you again at any of our nine Hospes Hotels in Spain. Sincerely, Francisco Capó General Manager
