A good hotel in a good location especially for the gay clubs. Near to the port and the sea. The only down side is the car park is a little expensive at €12 but you can leave it there the whole next day.

Previously when we have had to be near Alicante for the night, we have used hotels near the airport. Never again! This hotel is only one road away from the (very busy) seafront road, and right at the edge of the old town, and it has underground parking. So it has maximum convenience but relative tranquility. The beach and marina...

Tryp Ciudad, Alicante is perfectly placed for all your 'sightseeing' needs, a short and interesting stroll to the beach and harbour, the hotel is right in the middle of the beautiful old town just a short walk from the teatro principal and so many other architecturally splendid buildings. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, our room was...

Excellent hotel. Superb location just off the main esplanade for Alicante. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Cold buffet breakfast but a good selection of breads, meats, cheeses. Fruits, cereals, yoghurts and juices to choose from. Security paramount in this hotel, you even need your room key to operate the lift. The rooms cleaned daily and to an exceptionally high standard....

Stayed here twice in Sept 2012. Hotel nice and clean with basic rooms, with great air con and mini bar fridge. Ideal location for seeing Alicante and a 3 minute stroll to the beach. Also £15 taxi to airport and about a minute walk to tram station. Price per room was about £45 per night, so very good value. Good...

Pros: 2 minute walk to the sandy playa postiguet beach. In the "barrio" - part of the elegant, old town. Bars and restaurants nearby - 2 minutes walk, including the port with more restaurants, cocktail bars, clubs and casino. Large room. 2 singles pushed together. Cleaned and bed made on a daily basis - could smell product in bathroom upon...

Very nice location, really close to the beach and to the old city, both within a few minutes walk. Great if you enjoy beach and bathing thanks to it's location - just stroll down the stairs and across two streets and you're there. One street away from the main road makes the hotel fairly quiet. We had no problem with...

This hotel is ideally situated for the beach and old town. We moved here after 4 nights at the Bahia also on Gravina. Tryp was the same price but much better overall. The breakfast is really amazing for a Spanish hotel. Lovely fresh food and extensive selection from the buffet. The room was fine, had everything we needed and was...

My first trip to Alicante was for business and I was a solo traveler. From the photos this hotel looked modern and the price seemed really competitive. However my single room was like a little box, not at all modernized. The bathroom on the other hand showed signs of refurbishment. The room itself was stuffy and hot as the temp...
