Great location but a little noisy as it's on a small cross road and in the centre of a city. For me it's in a great spot close to everything, but Alicante is small so nothing is ever too far. The room was very clean and cleaned everyday our towels were also changed every day. I did find it strange... More

We stayed here for three nights with some friends whilst the euro's were on. The hotel is very close to some nice bars and restaurants, and only a 5 minute walk down to the beach and harbour. Clean and tidy rooms well kept. A little noise late in the evening when the football fans were enjoying themselves but not too... More

I have stayed here numerous times. It's the best price/quality accommodation in town. I have stayed in several hotels but having discovered this 3 years ago I never stay anywhere else. It's budget accommodation no frills. It's spotless and cleaned daily. Rooms bright and airy. I usually stay in either 401 or 501. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Surrounded... More

I read all the reviews before I stayed & got exactly what's already been stated! Economical, basic, clean place to stay. The best thing about this place is location, nothing much to complain about, it can be a tad noisy if you fancied an early night, but you are on holiday and that's the price you pay for its very... Good central hotel with free WiFi.Reception staff very friendly and helpful I was allowed to choose any room I wanted on the 6th floor. Also allowed me free use of the safe.Rooms are basic but clean and decent. There are no breakfast facilities in hotel but plenty of places nearby. I will stay here again.

First time city centre stop over in October to explore further. Hotel is easy to find and just off the busiest of roads, tucked away in a narrow road, but in easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants. We were given a warm welcome and checked in quickly. Our room for a budget hotel was clean, spacious and light from... More

Alicante is often overlooked so this time we decided to stay a night in the city and sample its many delights. We were looking for a budget option and were pleased with the San Remo. A small room but perfectly adequate. Nice central location meant there was a degree of noise but that's to be expected. Plenty of places close... More

We stayed for three nights in late September. Location is good, right in the town centre and ten minutes from the beach. The rooms are quite basic but adequate. In our bath we could switch the tap to bath mode, but then couldn't get it back to shower mode (one of the staff kindly switched it back for us and... More

I spent only 1 night here, and that is enough for me. It was late August, and the tourists were just enjoying their last hours of vacation. But we need to sleep, you know? So, if you don't mind the yelling and singing very late at night, stay here... after all it's very central: close to the beach, in the... More

The San Remo is such good value. I paid €30 for a single room with balcony and air conditioning -perfectly clean and bright. The lovely man on duty in the afternoons (may be the owner is so welcoming. The San Remo is right in the centre of the action near the shopping streets, 5 or 10 minutes to beach and... More
