My husband and I had been working remotly for quite a while when he suggested going for two weeks to Tenerife. I was a bit apprehensive about it but now I feel it is the best thing I could have done. I had a great time combining my 9 to 5 job (remotly) with exploring the island and enjoying the weather. Wifi is free and worked perfectly fine. It was amazing to be able to breathe freash air sourranded by nature and enjoying the amazing views over the Atlantic Ocean and Mount Teide...The perfect environment to relax and disconnect!

Finca Angelus is a family run complex and has everything you would ask for and more! They even produce their own wine which is super tasty! The whole family is lovely and very welcoming.

The appartments are nicely decorated (you can tell it has been done with great attention to detail).

Next to the pool area (pool is heated) there is a bbq area which I really enjoyed during the weekend.

I have already booked my next trip to Tenerife for December but this time I will be staying for a whole month! Let´s look at the possitive side of working remotly and make the most of it!

Thank you Finca Angelus for a great stay! Looking forward to visiting again!

We had a great time in this beautiful and magical place. The view is absolutely beautiful. The kind and super warm welcome. Nothing is missing and it really feels like home! The apartments and exterior have been decorated by the property owner artistically and are very original, we notice the details of the creations as the days go by. The bathroom with its huge Italian shower. The room was very nice, wooden flooring and nice bedspreads, and especially with openings to the sea. We loved it! We recommend 100%. Sylvie and Jerome

I was lucky enough to stay in Finca Angelus for my holiday in July 2013 with friends. This was my first visit to Tenerife and was not sure what to expect. Being Greek myself, I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that Tenerife felt like a home away from home.
The property was absolutely stunning with a finish of the highest standards. All areas - including the common areas, apartments and our hosts' house - were furnished with impecable taste, full of character and individuality. It was like an affordable dream house!
The apartment me and my 2 friends stayed in could have easily accommodate 5-6 people (2 large double bedrooms, 1 single room with wonderful views plus a sofa bed in the spacious sitting room, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dinning area and a utility room with a washing machine & dryer). As soon as you open the front door, the glass wall of the sitting room offers an amazing view of the coastline to Poerto de la Cruz and beyond, underneath the Teide. It also had a big balcony running at the front of the apartment, that had wicker loungers and a big dining table with chairs so you could enjoy a meal outside. The side of the balcony overlooked the lovely pool area with sun loungers and parasols. I really liked the pool - the tiles and decking were new and obviously well looked after. Parking was very easy and safe as the whole property is fenced and has only got one main entrance path, which opens with an electronic mechanism.
Our hosts, Angie & Claude and Annick, were always there when needed, very tendantive and helpful with suggestions on where to go, what to do, what we shouldn't miss etc as well as the history of the area. Also, they're great cooks, so if they offer you food, do the right thing and accept their invitation! They also produce their own wine and most of the things we ate were from their private veg garden - nothing beats fresh food!
I can't recommend this property enough for various reasons - the hospitality, location and quality of Finca Angelus is hard to beat! We did not want to leave!

Over a month ago my friend and I booked this apartment (not throughTripAdvisor) for a 2-week Christmas holyday and also paid a deposit of about half the price quoted. The booking was confirmed immeditely. A few days later I wrote and called the owners to ask whether the apartment has any heating. This is because the previous year I had staid in an apartment in Lanzarote, which, even with electric heaters, was very cold in the evening and at night. The owners replied that there is only a small heater in the apartment, that this is centrally controlled together with the heaters for the other apartments and these heaters are switched on only for a couple of hours during the day. I explained that my friend and I are over 60 year old and that we both suffer the cold quite badly. I asked whether we could have a couple of extra heaters and said that we woould happily pay extra for their use. The answer to this request was that it would not be possible, which was disappointing and unhelpful. Nevertheless, my friend and I said no more about it and simply decided that we would have to take very warm clothes with us. Meanwhile, we had booked our flights, had rented a car for the whole duration of the holiday and had paid for 2 weeks airport parking and an overnight at an hotel at the airport - all non refundable. So, imagine our reaction when this morning we received an email from the owners saying that they had cancelled our booking! We emailed them back immediately to ask them why but we have had no reply. We also tried to call them all morning, but they would not pick up their phone. So, there you have it!

My family, friends and I, decided to do something different for the holidays. So we rented one of the apts at this rural finca in the North of Tenerife.

The hosts, Ankie & Angelus, are great, warming and hospitable people. We could not ask for better hostesses. The apt was clean, complete with all kinds of bedding linen, kitchen supplies, TV, stereo, and WiFi. The finca also offers a safe environment, very private, and also romantic.

My favorite thing of our accomodations was without doubt the view of el Teide on the left, complemented by the Atlantic ocean on the right. We were close to Puerto Cruz and Santa Cruz, the island's largest cities, as well as restaurants, and supermarkets.

I definitely recommend finca Angelus, as it left me with lots of great Xmas & New Year's memories.

This was my first time in Tenerife, and if I'm honest I could have spend the whole of the holiday without leaving the hotel!!. We stayed at an beautiful 3 bedroom flat, fully furnished and with it's own swimming pool!!, it's located very close to the north airport and Puerto de la cruz. The hotel is ideal if you are looking for privacy or just if you want to be away of the overcrowded tourist hotels. They have other rooms in different sizes with a share pool. All the rooms are beautiful decorated and super clean, they provided towels and sheets, so you'll only need your swimwear and sun lotion. The best about it though, was the hosts, Claude and Ankie, nothing was to much trouble and they made us feel like family. We can't wait to go back. Ah and the VIEW did I mention waking up with the view of the sea and the Teide? or just look at the sun set (super romantic).

In a great location Finca Angelus gives you everything you need for a great holiday. The host family is always there if you need something or if you just want some advise of where to go or what to do.
The location gives a lot of privacy. I had a very nice time and really enjoy the swimming pool and the incredible views of Puerto de La Cruz, the sea and the spectacular Teide.
The appartaments have a very personal feel and include all the personal appliances you might need. You can even get fresh bread every morning at the front door :)
I highly recommend these appartaments to anyone who wants to visit the island!!!

Thank you very much for everything, we are looking forward to going back soon!

This was our first time in Tenerife and we had a wonderful time.
We stayed at Finca Angelus for 2 month and we can only praise it. The accommodations are beautiful and there is absolutely nothing missing . The views over the vineyards and to the ocean, to Puerto de la Cruz and of course to the highest mountain in Spain ( the Teide) are breathtaking .The hosts ( Ankie and Claude ) are the best hosts you can imagine .In all of our travels , they are number 1 for their hospitality.
You do not feel like a guest there, they treat you as family.
We can surely recommend this little paradise . It is only 10 minutes away from Puerto de la Cruz by car and 15 minutes to the Airport ( North) and is very safe ,private, and hidden ,as well as romantic. Thanks Ankie, Claude and family.
