This was our 2nd time back this year at Las Terrazas de Abama Suites. We loved it so much so we had to come back again. When we arrived we was so happy to see our favourite barman Giovanni was there to greet us. He made us feel so welcome again and remembered my favourite cocktail drink - Pina Colada. Just knowing he is there makes our time there even better and he is always happy to see us. We had a nice catch up with him and love the new reformed bar & pool area. We tried the food menu out and Giovanni recommended the angus burger to me and i must say its was so delicious and prepared perfectly to the highest quality. We tried a few other cocktails from the new drinks menu (that we love) and they were all amazing (thanks for all the recommendations Giovanni). The atmosphere by the pool is relaxed and the whole are is kept clean and tidy as before. We will most definitely be back again and when we do we hope to see our friend Giovanni stll there. As i had previously told staff before that he is a absolute credit to your company and please pass on our thanks to him personally please. 10/10. Thanks again, Craig, Ana & Mateo :-)

We had ten beautiful nights in this fabulous resort. We were a large group consisting of 5 adults and 6 children (ages 8-13) and we loved our stay. The resort offers something for everyone. The golfers enjoyed the course. We had a beautiful day in the spa at the Ritz Carlton. The spa was similarly priced to what we would have at home but the bar and the drinks in the hotel were expensive. We enjoyed the breakfast at the Melvin, again quite expensive but a nice treat. We ate in Melvin one of the evenings and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The service was fantastic. There is a small shop at reception but it was very limited and we got a taxi to the supermarket to stock up. We didn’t hire a car so depended on taxis and the shuttle bus to get around, all very accessible. The beach is a great size and we could easily keep an eye on the children in the water. If we had been on our own we did think the resort would have been a bit quiet for the kids but they had company with the other family and this wasn’t a problem. They tried out the kids club on the last day too. There were many times when we had a pool area to ourselves which was amazing. Fresh towels provided daily too at the pool and in the apartment which was serviced daily (new coffee pods/dishwasher tablets replenished also). Couldn’t rate the apartments highly enough - wine fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, we even had a hot tub. This is the perfect destination if you want the luxury of a hotel but the flexibility of an apartment. Lovely restaurants in the surrounding areas as well which the staff were helpful in recommending and booking on our behalf. We were able to get a late check out on departure day which gave us the opportunity for a final afternoon at the pool, much appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back or to recommend as a fabulous holiday destination!

We are family of four and spent a week staying at this fabulous hotel. We had a two bedroom apartment that was spacious, luxurious, spotlessly clean and had all the home comforts you could ever need. The well planted gardens and surroundings are absolutely stunning with amazing views. The heated infinity pools are relaxing, were never overcrowded and sunbeds were always available. We tried dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was of a high standard and the restaurant has a fantastic view across the resort and down to the sea. We really enjoyed lunch at the pool bar which was not only tasty but good value too. All the staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and made us feel welcomed from the minute we arrived. The location is away from the main resorts so it's very peaceful although the nearest town and supermarkets are a few kilometres away. Some could find it a little remote although we had a car so it wasn't a problem for us. We used the Alteza supermarket in Playa San Juan which was only a few minutes drive or taxi ride away and had its own car park. All in all this is certainly one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at and we'd certainly choose stay here again on any future visits to Tenerife.
