Visited here over the weekend, from Wednesday to Friday with my sister. Hotel was clean and pool area was good. Yes it was loud but due to the area it is in you wouldn’t expect anything else. My main complaint is the lack of air con!!! When booking it states that the rooms are all air conditioned. This isn’t true. We contacted reception 4 times about this but nothing was done. So if you struggle with sleeping in heat this won’t be for you. Also be warned that although there is a small fridge in the room, you need to pay €2.50 per day to have it unlocked to use 😕

I recently came back from a 3 night stay at this hotel for a hen do, yes it was cheap so you don't expect much but when we arrived the pool was bright green and unusable, absolutely full of mould and dirt, you couldn't see the bottom of the pool.

The check in was unorganised and we couldn't check in until 4 although the website says 2. The air con was absolutely awful in the rooms and didn't work in some of them, they were very dated units. The bathroom was okay but the rest of the room was dated. other than that it was clean enough.

Chose a pool view room as those on the front of the hotel were kept up until 5am with noise from the strip as it is located directly on the strip.

It is a perfect location for stag and hen dos but would not reccomend it for anything other than this.

Pros: friendly bartender and receptionist, clean room

Cons: where to start. We weren't expecting too much based on reviews but even then we were disappointed. The rooms were semi remodeled but nothing like the photos on the website for sure. The mattress was terrible, the springs were literally poking me all the time. The pillows were dreadful, basically a bag of bits of sponge, totally unconfortable.
The restaurant staff in general did not seem to care or speak Portuguese or english well. They did not at all enforce hygiene measures for covid 19. First day we had dinner there (we had half board) no one was social distancing. At breakfast people were using the same tongs to get their food and they were not being sanitized. Breakfast was not the best. Dinner was disgusting, we had half board and had dinner elsewhere because we are pretty sure the food made us sick when we ate it. At the booking website it said they had 3 restaurants which is completely untrue, they only have one.
The pool was not clean.
I've been to 2 star hotels and budget hotels with better quality than this one. Do not recommend, spend a little more money to actually enjoy a good night's sleep and a good stay.

We booked this hotel knowing the previous reviews about the noise from the strip, that wasn't the problem as we booked a pool facing room.
The staff whilst friendly apparently found it difficult to deal with challenging situations . We witnessed many guests being frustrated with the lack of action about their complaints. We checked in Sunday 4th August to be told that the car park was 10€ per day so as we were staying 21 days it was 210€. I should the girl on the desk my email confirmation that stated the car park was free . She said that girl doesn't work here anymore and the big bosses says the charge is for July & Augudt and pointed out a sign saying that. We had to accept this as we were new to the area and didn't know of an alternative. The room was basis though in need of updating. We then discovered the safe was an additional 3.50€ a day but thought it has to be done. We were allocated room 102 which we found out suffered everyday from the banging music from the pool bar underneath from 10 to 7pm the the cocktail bar from 7pm onwards. We asked the pool bar staff to try and play different music which they did but then resorted back to loud trans music everyday. We has 22 days of this.
The absolute worst feature was when we went to the pool the next day the water was cloudy and there was debris floating in the pool, cigarette buts all over dirty glasses from previous day, the tiles has debris and dirt ingrained on them it was quite disgusting. We complained to reception and there was some effort to clean the pool but never the tiles etc so they remained filthy for 21 days. A chap in a white outfit walked around the pool some days to clean up but the pool was never hoovered and there was sand on the bottom for days. Two or three other men walked around the pool area after we complained but did not appear to be very effective in dealing with the cleaning process. We understand there was a much younger clientele that us who probably did not care about our ckeaning issues being there for stag and hen trips for less time than us but we saw little regard for pool hygiene during our three weeks there. We did not pay a lot for our stay however the management should be aware and deal with customers complaints but not once did we see the manager or did he approach us to apologise for what we brought to their attention.

Booked this as a last minute holiday for a long bank holiday weekend. We paid extra for pool view after reading reviews about the noise, probably could have got a standard room to be honest with the nightclubs etc closing at 1pm the noise wasn’t bad. Lovely hotel can’t fault it, quiet pool area and friendly bar staff. Location was great right on top of the nightlife and a short walk to the beach. Would stay here again thanks

On checking in the guy on reception informed us of the noise we may experience in the early hours due to the bars on “The Strip”. What we wasn’t told was the loud music, fighting in the rooms and drunken lads shouting and banging on all the doors on our floor and it was only 4:00pm!!! There was no control from the hotel staff or security so after only TWO hours of checking in, we checked out and went to a nicer safer hotel.
This hotel is not fit for couples or families as this could be a dangerous environment especially if you try to confront theses animals! STAY CLEAR

If you want a relaxing holiday and intend on sleeping don’t stay here. We stayed in a room facing the strip. To change rooms to the pool side you need to pay an extra €30 per night. The music dies down around 4am so if you plan on partying every night then it might suit you. The breakfast was okay, rooms a bit outdated, rude staff. A few tips: bring good ear plugs the wax / silicone ones and bring extra €250 for your deposit, which is per person. We didn’t have to pay it because the website we booked it through but everyone else was asked for it!

I am not one to write a negative review but I feel I must want people about this place. From minute one arriving into this hotel with my friend it was disaster, we booked the "superior" room which when we entered was absolutely terrible, tine and completely outdated. We went down to reception to say this and we were told this was the what they had which by the way did not look like the rooms displayed in the images. We were "upgraded" to a better room in the end but still were far from happy with this. We then went out to pick up some bits for the room, crisps fizzy drinks etc as we were staying there for a week and as grown adults you'd expect that to en fine , right ? Well no we entered the hotel with our items purchased and the owner was complete outraged screaming after us and made one of the ride staff members to chase us down and demand we remove these from the hotel as this was not permitted, absolutely ridiculous as we paid really good money but how dare we buy snacks and drinks for the room right. There is one particular staff member there who acts as security at night who basically acts too intimidate and is incredibly rude. One night we tried to enter back into the hotel with a bottle of sprite as my friend was feeling sick, he stopped us at the door and asked did we have diabetes been smart and rude and said we cannot bring this in he stood over us and began to walk towards us at the door refusing to leave us is and trying to antagonize and intimidate us. Guys I implore you if you are thinking of going to this hotel please stay far far away and don't make the same mistake as we did.

I booked this hotel through a package deal and didn’t check the reviews until afterwards, upon checking the reviews I was terrified and anxious about my stay being terrible but it absolutely wasn’t!
I’m glad I read the reviews in once sense as the street view room we were in was noisy due to the strip, but not as bad as most make it out to be and with earplugs in and the fan on it was barely noticeable.

The room was a bit dated but clean and tidy as was the bathroom bar a bit of black mould on the shower head pipe. The option to have your room made up daily was a really nice touch considering most hotels I have stayed in recently only offer this for longer stays/after 7 days.

Staff were pleasant enough when we interacted with them, even the bouncer many reviews state isn’t very nice was always okay with us, and breakfast was good.

If you’re reading this prior to your visit and, like I was, you’re apprehensive about your stay, don’t be. It’s really not as bad as some reviews make it out to be.
