Stayed for 2 nights. Very good hotel hidden in the town of Zell at the Gateway to the Black Forest. The room was spacious and very clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. I can especially recommend the Argentinian rump steak, cooked medium with herb butter was to die for.

I arrived at the accommodation late, after booking in i was allocated a room on the top floor of the property opposite the main hotel, I wasn't really happy with this as I had been on the motorbike all day (the hotel wasn't to know this) BUT there was a lift and the room I had been allocated probably had... We stayed here with 2 adults and 8 kids on a Europapark trip. The hotel gave the kids the attic floor all to themselves with huge rooms and a little meeting area. There's an underground walkway to the lovely little private pool. There's also an outside playground with table tennis. The village is within walking distance and really charming. The... More

A strange kind of hotel this one: it is in a residential area of a nice little historical town, Zell am Harmersbach. There are little houses all along a road where there are rooms or little apartments; in a building you have wellness area, in another one there is the reception and a downstairs restaurant/stube. It could be nice apparently,... More

A convenient overnight stop on a train journey but I'd stay longer. The hotel is very near Birach halt on a branch line, so would be good for excursions, especially as you get free public transport right across a large area of Baden. Didn't have dinner but good breakfast with quality products, though not the variety of an international chain.... More

Just got back from a golf weekend based at this hotel. As another reviewer said, the hotel is split between several buildings. The hotel is located basically on a very nice housing estate, and it seems to be buying up large houses and converting them to rooms using the Stube as the central location for the reception and restaurant. Our... More

The hotel is very nice, much better than the usual 3 stars standard. The room was big, clean and bright. The area is very quiet. Breakfast was the best thing: big choice and fresh food. The wellness area is also very nice, even if the pool is too small to swim properly. I went there on a business trip because... More

Stayed here for 2 days on business. Attentive staff, clean and comfortable accommodation . Room could have done with an update to bathroom and tv. Breakfast usual selection of cold meats, cheese, fruit, bread and conserves. Hotel divided into a number of annexed "houses" in the street. Stunning rural Schwarzwald setting.

wonderful hotel although the layout is quaint with the hotel being split into four seperate buildings, but this was not a problem at all. the staff were most friendly and the rooms were spotless. the food was more than adequate and served by charming staff in national dress. the hotel is 5 minutes walk from the village and 5 minutes... We went on a coach holiday from the north of scotland. We travelled down to hull and went on the ferry to Rotterdam. After travelling through Holland, Belguim, France we then arrived in Germany. We stayed in the Klosterbraustuben hotel for 6 nights. It seems an unusual set up as there are 4 separate buildings. We were in the Christian... More
