Truly a relaxing retreat. Beautiful accommodations, stylishly furnished with oak floors and furniture, sparklingly clean... We were generously provided for! There were Molton Brown toiletries, white waffle robes, soft white sheets, and a fridge stocked with breakfast goodies. Everything from the home made shortbread to the fresh fruit platter and creamy yoghurts were deliciously appreciated. But perhaps most remarkable was... More

My Wife and i wanted a quiet weekend away from hustle and bustle of London. Orchard retreat was idylic for some rest and recuperation in the middle of the beautiful Kent countryside, with many lovely towns and the south coast all within easy reach. It is set at the bottom of the owners charming garden right next to an pear... More

Katrina and I stayed at Orchard Retreat over the weekend whilst attending a wedding in a nearby village. It's very easy to get to from London by train (less than an hour from Charing Cross) and great to be transported to such idyllic settings after a stressful week in town. Lynda kindly collected us from the station, advised on taxis... More

Orchard retreat is set at the back of the owners incredibly beautiful garden, with an orchard at the back and a pretty pond at the front. The B&B is perfect. It is equipped with everything you need, it is immaculate, cosy, lovely Molton Brown products in the bathroom and a delicious breakfast provided for you. I would highly recommend Orchard... More

From the moment we glimpsed Orchard Retreat whilst making our way through the beautiful garden, we knew we'd made a great choice. The Retreat is stunning and fully deserves its name. We didn't want to leave! Beautifully decorated and furnished, it is perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing place to stay. Lynda and Jeremy were fantastic hosts -... More

Spent 2 lovely days in this little oasis with my wife whilst visiting family in the area. The summerhouse is situated at the end of a gorgeously manicured garden away from the main building and to just say it's peaceful and ideallic doesn't do it justice. The summerhouse itself lends itself to the B52's song 'loveshack'.A fantastically comfy bed,a fridge,a tv,tea... More

We stayed at the Orchard Retreat for our one year wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The mother-in-law had called ahead as she had send a card. Lynda very kindly congratulated us and gave us a card as well, which was a nice touch. The location, the facilities, the continental breakfast all were perfect. Only very tiny issue was... More

I was so sorry to read in your review about the television reception. I will,of course, replace and update this facility. I do wish you had mentioned it to me personally but was very pleased to read that you, along with most of our other previous guests, enjoyed your stay at The Orchard Retreat. Our aim is to accommodate our... More

Orchard Retreat is a super place to stay. Everything speaks quality, yet it is still extremely relaxing and comfortable place just to be yourself. Lynda's recommendations are spot on and her breakfasts are amazing. We stay in a lot of B & Bs but the quality of her bacon and sausages are the best I have ever tasted. Don't let... More

The Orchard Retreat was a great B&B experience. The accommodation was high spec and very comfortable. Situated in a beautiful garden next to a duck pond and backing onto an orchard, it was relaxing and tranquil. Will definitely stay again!
