The people here are so very friendly. If you are coming expecting ALL the convince of home, this may not be your place. I wanted to know more of the people and culture. I would strongly suggest not to go thru a travel agent but to get the boat at the dock and just pay 147.00 approx each way. Maybe... More

We ended up staying here by chance. We were originally booked in to spend 6 nights at the Barefoot Manta resort, however we were informed that Cyclone Winston had caused severe damage to our bure and seeking altenerative accommodation was required. Thus became our stay In Wayalailai. Our initial impression was that we were going to get dreadfully bored over... More

I stayed in a bure at the resort and it was very nice and very clean. There is only electricity for a few hours each day, which isn't really an issue. However, there was rarely any running water which made it difficult to clean up after any physical activities. I only participated in the "swim the sharks" activity, which was... More

We stayed 2 nights. The island is lovely, but the resort is a desaster. Due to the bad weather there had been no activities available. So you had to spend the day without water supply and most time without electricity. Food was basic, less crockery and sometimes not really clean, WiFi only available hourly and only for 1 Person at... More

I stayed at this resort for two nights in November, and it was okay/average the entire time. The staff were really friendly, nice and helpful, apart from one member of the team who was decidedly creepy. Saka was a really nice member of staff who made sure we got the most out of the activities that we did. The shark... More

I accept that this is a relatively cheap resort however our experience was worse than terrible! A 25cm long poisonous centipede was in my bed and crawled out of my pillow case during the night! I can understand that traveling to various countries you encounter insects and other things you wouldn't want to share a bed with. However in this... More

This is probably not one of the best resorts in Fiji, it is a bit old. Though it does have an amazing views and even better snorkeling. There is a sunrise and sunset guided tour each day to climb the big rock you see in most photos for just $10.

I chose this place because I wanted relax. Unfortunately I had a bad weather. There was raining whole 2 days. The staff there is very lazy. They didn't prepare any program. Every outdoor activities were canceled and indoor activities weren't. I stayed in bure which is small house with own bathroom. Was simple, but dirty. There windows are not suitable... More

It's great that this is a locally owned place and you feel like you are supporting the local community. When we arrived, after the welcome drink and intro we were told that everyone was heading to the other side of the island for lunch and we felt like we couldn't really say no. Although they were very hospitable at the... More

Excellent lodge for backpackers. Back to basics, good hospitality, cherished memories, beautiful beach. It is worth taking a trip to the nearby town to meet locals or even a walk down the beach should do it.
