The best part of my trip in Fiji. Total immersion in a Fijian family and their life, full of culture, traditional food, music, nature, humanity, care, friendship and love. I highly recommend this place instead of a big and impersonal resort somewhere.

The staff was wonderful, made us feel like familiy from the beginning to the very end. The place is very nice and the island an interesting place to walk and rest, The beach is not the best in the island but seems fine enough and thre are plenty of activities. The bures are simple but clean and enjoyable. The after dinner with Kava was memorable! Food, being good enough could be more Fijian but this is just to put a con in so meny pros! Don't expect luxuries, expect family and simple pleasures.

Our experience was amazing. The staff is so warm and friendly. They treat you like family. I would definitely recommend the shark feeding excursion and the snorkeling excursion. I wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely return to this amazing hidden gem. Highly recommend!

One of the highlights in our trip! People that work and live there are amazing and friendly all the time! Lots of activities are available and they are a good option to learn more about Fiji; I.e. swimming with sharks, visiting the village and also sunset walks. My only comment would be that if you are not in the mood for interacting with other tourists all the time probably this wouldn’t be your right choice, as there are many planned group activities as kava ceremony and all meals that take place in a big shared table (I personally don’t like that big table meals as you can’t have much privacy). In other case, this is a great hotel that still has that true Fijian family vibe.

Bula Ana and thank you for visiting the Naqalia Lodge family. We try and create a family atmosphere where we eat together and celebrate special occasions such as birthays, anniversaries etc together as a family. We do have tables for 2 and 4 people which you can also use should you wish to have privacy. There is a lot to do during the day, early morning walk, shark feeding trip, village and school trip, weaving, snorkeling, picnic, sunset hike, fishing, volleyball games, night snorkeling and kava sessions in the evening. Thank you for the comments and hope to see you again
