864 acres, silence, wide green gardens and a panoramic swimming pool. The property hosts only 30 people in 4 stone houses Villas that include 9 beautiful apartments restored in the typical umbrian style with antique furnitures, full kitchen, Wi-fi and a lot of outside green space. We are an organic farm placed on a hill over the Trasimeno Lake, just at the border between Umbria and Tuscany, a perfect place for day trips in both regions. Our place is very panoramic and tranquill. Full silence and beautiful views are key points to our guests. Olive trees and woods surround all the property that has large green spaces suitable for children or just to relax.
Where to even begin! We have just returned home from our wedding at Casa Bruciata and it’s hard to put into words how beautiful this place is. If you are considering a wedding in Italy this needs to be your venue… it truly is unbeatable. Planning a wedding is difficult at the best of times, but doing it during a pandemic takes things to a whole new level. We really couldn’t have got through the journey without Luigi and his wonderful team. Any worries, concerns or questions were immediately responded to and we were constantly reassured. You hear of the horror stories of wedding venues (both UK and abroad) being difficult with Coronovirus issues and cancellations but Casa bruciata is not one of these places. We felt fully informed the whole time and reassured that our wedding was in the safest hands possible. The team are so knowledgeable, efficient and unflappable! Nothing is too much of a problem or an issue for them. We had a Gelato cart planned for a bit of an outdoor ice cream party and were met with torrential rain! The team managed to get the gelato cart indoors and make it feel as if it was supposed to be that perfect the whole time. Communication from Luigi was outstanding from the very beginning. They give you all the information you need and you are able to be as creative with the venue as you want to be for your wedding day. They give you ideas based on what has happened before and have a long list of fantastic suppliers to help you pick the most perfect wedding for you. Nothing is a secret, which is what we found with other venues. They are honest about prices and costs from the very beginning and it is worth every single penny! Casa Bruciata is also absolutely spotless and guests had no complaints. The food is also something which you need to prepare yourselves for. We had a wedding party full of big appetites and we didn’t finish all the food, despite our best efforts! It is the only place we can say you get both quality and quantity. We had gluten free guests and dairy free guests and nothing was a challenge. Simply put, our gluten free guests wanted to stay as it is the most special they have ever felt with food and their dietary restrictions. To finish… No pictures will ever do the view and venue justice. No words can describe Luigi and his team and there is simple nowhere else in the world we would rather have got married! Thank you for creating the best day of our lives and holding our hands through a pandemic when we needed it. Anyone reading this review… you’ve found your venue… I promise you wont regret it! Just back after 5 days from our daughters wedding at this 6 star venue and i must say what a superb enjoyable time we all had, the accommodation was first class food and drink was typical regional produce and cuisine which was delicious and more than our guests could eat and drink on times, ... The proprietor ilvio and manager luigi are absolutely great guys and true professionals 👌 and my wife and myself would like to thank you for making my daughters wedding so special.

A simply stunning location, with wonderful staff and incredible food. We had the best week of our lives at Casa Bruciata. From the moment we expressed our interest in having our wedding at this wonderful venue, Luigi and the team were nothing short of amazing. From the wedding weekend in October, meeting suppliers, tasting wine and food menus, Luigi organised everything to perfection. Our wedding week was simply incredible, safe to say all 55 of our guests left gobsmacked, in a positive way. The view, arguably the best in central Italy. The food on the pasta, pizza and BBQ nights were all 10/10, and all prepared with guests requests in mind, E.g coeliacs and vegetarians. Everyone was catered for. The venue itself is beautiful, set in the Umbrian countryside, offering peace and tranquility if you are looking for a relaxing week/weekend. We hosted 55 guests over a week, and the space was just perfect. My wife and I cannot fault anything about the venue or staff, we just had the most incredible week and cannot wait to return in the next few years.

From the start of our visit to the very end we were completely blown away by Casa Bruciata, Luigi, Illvio and the rest of the team. We were so fortunate to get married here last week. Every single guest who attended our 6 day long celebration had a fantastic time. The venue and staff exceeded our expectations. What a beautiful place. We had the additional nights offered along with the wedding day and we would highly recommend the BBQ, Pizza night, Pasta night and welcome Buffet. Be warned we have never seen so much amazing food. Every single apartment/room is beautifully decorated and well equipped. We really did have the wedding of our dreams and are still on cloud 9! Where do I start to review the incredible location and venue for the best weekend of my life?! Casa Bruciata hosted my wedding earlier this month and all I can say is if you're contemplating booking it for your wedding - DO NOT HESITATE. The best decision we have ever made.
It can be daunting booking a destination wedding but every single thing from booking, to planning, to the weekend itself was absolutely perfect.
Luigi and the team work so hard to provide an amazing service, every single thing you could wish for is made possible. The food was phenomenal, logistics amazing, planning incredible. Every single one of our guests has commented on how perfect it was, and that is mostly down to the team we had behind us. Memories to last a lifetime and we will forever be thankful to Luigi and the Casa Bruciata team. x

We have just returned from our wedding at Casa Bruciata, and what we wouldn't give to relive it all over again. Having decided Italy was our dream destination, this perfect place exceeded every expectation from the very beginning. Booking our wedding pre pandemic lead us to make the difficult decision to postpone our day, but with the help of Luigi and the team nothing was too much and we had support and advice every step of the way. From the early planning, to all the changes that came along, Luigi himself was beyond anything we could have hoped for. There is no one greater I could imagine being on had to help couples navigate their way to their dream day, he certainly did for us. The venue itself takes your breath away, with the grounds, the pool, and the rooms stunningly perfect, but still so traditionally authentic. Our guests staying with us were treated like royalty for the duration of our stay, and every detail was outstanding. From the themed nights (which included THE BEST pizza I have ever had) pasta night and a perfect post wedding BBQ, nothing was too much trouble. The wedding day itself was the best day of our lives. Everything was arranged to perfection, and the whole day ran perfectly, beyond anything we could have planned for. Luigi and his team created the perfect setting for us and our guests, helped coordinate with of our fantastic photographers (Neza), videographers (Wedding Motion), florist (Roberta), and our wonderful band (Just FM Dixie) and DJ and singers for the evening (Simon and Guty) The setting was better than we had dreamed, and the food was the best we have ever had (so good that lots of our guests went back for seconds) With all the ups and downs, we can honestly say that everything exceeded every expectation we ever had, and gave us, and our family and friends memories to last a lifetime. I recently visited Casa Bruciata for my friends wedding and had an absolute blast. The location was beautiful and the accomdation was very comfortable and enjoyable to stay in with others. Our host Luigi and Ilvio were fantastic. They were super friendly and made us feel so welcomed, meeting all our needs. Finally the food was really tasty, a highlight for me. A big thank you to Luigi and the team at Casa Bruciata for helping arrange the perfect wedding for my daughter and son in law. They, and all the guests, loved every minute of the 4 day celebration. From the pre-wedding pizza party to the post wedding bbq -nothing was too much trouble for him and his team. AND for the actual wedding they even managed to conjure up beautiful sunshine to complement this fantastic location! Food and drink were in abundance and of excellent quality. If you are looking for your wedding venue then look no further. This place is stunning, and will exceed all your expectations. But more than that you have Luigi! He is your wedding knight in shining armour. He makes everything so incredibly easy. This man made our wedding what it was and it exceeded all our hopes and dreams. Once you arrive you need to worry about nothing. Further to this they could not make it easier to plan your wedding. Everything is in a spreed sheet that you can change to your hearts content and clearly shows you how much you are spending. So excellent for keeping yourself on budget. They provide a fantastic list of tried and tested suppliers who were all amazing. Big shout out to our photographer Serena and florist Roberta who were recommended by Luigi. And if that wasn’t enough the food is unbelievable! You gave us the wedding of our dreams, our guests are all still talking about it and saying it’s the best wedding they have ever been to. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Luigi is the best host I’ve ever met. Nothing was too much trouble . The views & the accommodation were absolutely stunning. Also the efforts they went to on the wedding day were outstanding in terms of decorations/set up. My daughter getting married there has left me with memories I will treasure for the rest of my life The infinity swimming pool has a fantastic outlook. I would have no hesitation in recommending Casa Bruciata as a place to stay.

Perugia is probably the nearest- about 40km but you can only fly direct from London area. Pisa, Florence or Rome are all between 2.5 to 4 hour drive and are much more accessible from UK airports.
There are more places to choose from in the Umbertide area.
