The place is unique , all in wood with a lot of potential . Too bad the maintenance is poor and needs to be refurbished in the outdoor areas , the water tanks for the rooms need to be cleaned because the sink water stinks, the cookware in the kitchen are old, dirty and rusty , in other words it...

Been here six times in as many years. The lack of tourism has contributed to a poorly managed facility. Understaffed and poorly paid/trained staff ultimately falls on the ultimate comfort of the vacationers. The beer fridge keeps beverages cool at best, often out of ice cubes. Carry your own bags to the room and no instruction or information is offered...

Spent one night at the place and was happy to meet a very friendly barman, late in the night. The rooms were good though not to my expectation. The beach is quite close by and easily accessible from the lodge. I did not have a chance to take any meal.

The rooms are so amazing and serene. The African touch on the rooms leaves one desiring to stay longer. Also, the natural trees in the garden is the best thing that one would wish to remember forever. ....FOR all that value culture, hush environment, beautiful tree species, then Ziwa Resort is the place to be!!!

Beautifully located on the beach at Bamburi north of Mombasa, Ziwa Beach Resort harkens back to a better time. Back to when tourists flocked to the shores of the Indian Ocean, filled the hotels and helped employ an army of workers. Recent tragedies and events have severely curtailed business. Low season is a way of life now. Unfortunately that leads...

We stayed at the Ziwa Beach Resort for almost 4 weeks, We had a wonderful time with our two kids. The kids had a blast in the pool every day, and with a few steps were able to swim in the ocean. The staff at the resort were all very friendly, and tried to make our stay as comfortable as...

No electricity, no wi-fi, problems with bathrooms just to open the list.. I was so happy to arrive at Ziwa Beach Resort. At first it seams to be what I wanted to find on the beaches of Mombasa.. Away from the city chaos, on the nice beach but in short uber drive distance from the very popular City Mall. Nice...

A very nice and natural place to eat or spend a night at Bamburi beach. The place is mainly made of wood trunks, compared to the neighbour hotels a real jewel. The food, specially the vegerian dishes are a blast. And all this is not overpreiced. Its not cheap, but you get good value for the money. The only thing:...
