My friend was cut her arm by thieves and everything was taken and yet the security were only watching . Will never think of going back there .and yet it's not the first person who has been hurt . If the hotel doesn't take action on that.many people will get hurt in that corridor coming to kahamas

Visited in April 2015 and booked Kahama primarily due to its affordability. The location is convenient though it has no beachfront. The hotel has it's own sportsbar thus you don't need to go far looking for entertainment in the evening. Word of caution, the noise can be overwhelming on weekends thus interrupting light sleepers. There's also a neighboring church next... More

We stayed here for two nights as a beach option outside of Mombasa. The hotel itself if set back from the beach and it's a 5min walk through some curio stalls to reach the shore. The room was nice enough, a little tired but a very fine budget option. The staff were not rude, but they weren't all that welcoming... More

Reasonably priced, lovely decor, comfortable, clean and excellent friendly service. Nice pool and reasonable food. Very close to the beach. Sometimes hard to get transport at night - fix up your own tuk-tuk driver in advance.

We enjoyed our first visit to this hotel but the second time around left us with a bad taste. There are so many things that they can/could have been done differently to make our experience memorable. The check-in process was a nightmare. We had to wait for our rooms for almost 40mins and then when we finally went up to... More
