Travelling solo from Darwin to Cairns in my little Toyota Yaris, with no cruise control and just getting over a broken ankle meant short driving sessions. Stayed 1 night here, a bit of a time warp the room was very 19th century farmhousey with its floral coverings and the tv was not even a foot square with a set top... More

This is a well run and maintained caravan park. The sites are easy to get into the the amenities are kept clean. They also offer a meal where you take you own plate and cutlery (like being at school camp) It was chicken pie the night we were there and it was great. It was such a surprise after some... More

My wife and I have now visited Bedrock Village 4 times, and each time we stay a little longer. This time was ten days. The caravan sites are large, shady and all drive thru, and they have power and water which has never gone down on any of our visits. Each night there is a bush restaurant available with a... More

If you are looking for a friendly park to lay back and relax - Bedrock is the place to be.A small caravan park with shady sites that are a reasonable size. Sites available for bigger rigs as well. We spent a week here - and could have stayed longer. 2 course meal served every night in the camp kitchen and... More

Bedrock Village met all our expectations and more. The village has been very thoughtfully developed by keen and committed owners. We stayed in a Copperfield Cabin. These are detached, clean and tidy private units that had plenty of space and are well equipped with the usual motel facilities. Reception and other staff we interacted with were all really friendly and... More

Stayed seven nights in a powered, drive thru, shady site. No pads here as it is a bush setting and not too close to your neighbours as there are bush screens between each site. Water quality although from a bore was quite good. Ablutions were spotlessly clean (one up for the cleaning crew!). The showers were hot and had good... More

Bedrock Village is a really friendly and welcoming place to stay...just down the road from the Undara Caves and makes a perfect stop over for a few nights. Good amenities, clean pool and camp kitchen and terrific shaded grassed sites. The Bedrock/Flintstones theme is fun without being corny....I would recommend a stay.

Definitely put this on your list. Was going to stay overnight but stayed longer. Clean amenities. Grassy shady flat sites and lovely people. Loved the history of the park too. Nice walk to the freshwater creek, top salt water pool and tours available to the Lava Tubes at Undarra. We'll be back !
