Right after booking, the owner noted my preferences and said I would be on a higher floor right by the balcony - just what I had hoped for! Unfortunately, though, I misjudged my travel time to stay at this spot for my vacation in Vis and never got to experience it. A few days before the trip was planned, I explained my issue to the owner and he went ahead and sent me a cancellation request, so I didn’t have to pay the fee. He was very kind on the phone and I hope to stay there once I make it to the beautiful island!

Cannot rate the guesthouse cause we never got to see it. We were navigated to other property owned by the same host under false pretenses. They are listing same property on million outlets and tend to overbook vs slightest possibility of being empty. So if you are first time visiting Komiza check what your google map says about the address. They presented us tiny room with no natural light and toilet bowl behind curtain as en-suite. I have been all over the world in very modest accommodation but never in my life had to shower over toilet bowl. Btw you cannot find photo from this broom closet online. Overbooking happens we can understand that but you should own your mistake. Instead host Toni refused to meet us, opted to stay and finish his coffee and left his mother to deal with us. After standing on the street for hour and a half we decided to leave. He did however reach through social media because he can obviously be polite only with treat of public shaming. Toni and people like him give bad name to Croatian tourism. So to conclude, avoid this, find other accommodation and enjoy Croatia!

Our room had everything needed: comfortable bed, small kitchen, wardrobe, air conditioning, bathroom ... Everything is very neat and clean. I slept like a baby :) The building is 2 minutes from the center and 2 minutes from the town beach; ideal location! Close to cafes, bars, restaurants, shops ... No traffic noise! The host is very kind, professional and friendly. Staying there was a real pleasure, without any complications!

After initially finding it tricky to locate and with a rather ancient booking system, my girlfriend and I enjoyed four nights in one of the apartments with a small view of the beach. The apartment is in a great location and has a really nice terrace, which we spent a day winding down on. With a bit of imagination, we bought some local cuisine and enjoyed a sunset picnic on the boat dock right outside the place as well as enjoying the local restaurants. Lovely manager as well, very accommodating and easy to deal with.

Vis is a lovely unspoiled island and the accommodation is typical of the back packing style. It's clean but our room was small and the shower is shared, so fine for a few days before moving on. The views are lovely and its a few minutes away from the bars and restaurants.
