We have just returned from a week stay at the Mill Houses self catering apartment The Wheelhouse, the apartment is well equipped with all amenities for a weeks stay ideal for walking or visiting further afield, the hosts Clare and David were very welcoming and very informative about local attractions. Will definitely visit again.

I think this undoubtedly the best B&B we've ever stayed in. First class all the way, from the warm welcome from the family to the excellent breakfast. The room, more of a suite, was beautiful, with crisp white sheets and comfy pillows, a powerful hot shower and home made biscuits with our tea making facilities. The views from our room... More

For the past 10 years Clare and David have welcomed us to the Mill House and on every visit we feel part of their loving family. Superb rooms, facilities, breakfast and of course the best view in the borders!! Clare ensures that dinner reservations are made at the local hotel should you require them. All the rooms are beautifully decorated... More

I had a one night stay with friend as part of the St Cuthbert's Way Walk. The Mill House is a large beautiful L shaped house in its own grounds surrounded by countryside and fully restored about 8 years ago. We had a very warm welcome from our host who showed us our huge twin room with large en-suite. The... More

Great B&B. It as a lovely property. The family are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic with excellent quality ingredients including "home made" eggs from Clare's hens. The room was nice and bright with a good sized shower room. There is a huge lounge to relax in and it is just a short walk from the border hotel... More

we stayed one night in this lovely B&B in Kirk Yetholm. Friendly helpful hosts and lovely comfortable rooms in a restored mill on the edge of the village. Small details made it special, home made biscuits and fresh milk with a cup of tea, room to dry our boots, comfortable sitting room, plenty of delicious options at breakfast and friendly... More

We returned to this stunning B&B for 3 nights. Clare & David were extremely welcoming, as were the family, including the extremely well mannered dogs. The suite was superb, so comfortable, luxurious and beautifully warm. The breakfasts were to die for and my gluten free, vegan diet did not phase them at all. For once I was given a choice... More

Walking the St Cuthbert's way we ended our day in Morebattle but no phone signal! However our host noticed we were not on the bus to Kirk Yetholm so came out and found us! Warm welcome, beautiful accommodation. Amazing bathroom! Everything you could wish for. Very comfortable bed, very very quiet! Breakfast around a huge table with other guests, very... More
