We stayed here with a group of friends for the week-end and enjoyed the charming atmosphere and environment, the friendly service and the excellent food. Here you feel immediately at home and the gastronomy is typical original and everything is home-made We will certainly visit this place again in near future
I just love this place. Myself and my family stayed here when we went visiting Belogradchik Rocks. Food is good, decor is rustic and cozy, owners and personnel are very welcoming. Rooms are large, rustic decorations, kind of old but clean. We will visit again.
The rooms are basic, but clean (a bit chilly at night). The restaurant is really nice. Homemade food, fresh and simple. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. Owners are very friendly, I highly recommmend it.
It's all in the title really! My girlfriend and I stopped here on the road to Greece in our camper van after finding it online (ACSI doesn't cover Bulgaria) and it was delightful. Great home cooked food and lovely service. The camp site is lovely and green, with plenty of trees to slump under and read a book. Facilities were good, with hot showers, outside taps and electricity at the ready. Can't wait to return! (We didn't stay in the Inn so have no idea about the rooms...)
Advantages: - The distant location from Belogradchik may be advantage if you want to be near the nature. - Nice view from the room and its balcony. - Spacious rooms and decent commodities like fast Wi-Fi network. Disadvantaged: - The distant location may be a problem if you want to have quick acces to touristic sites. - Some renovation may be needed. THE BIGGEST disappointment: Entering the restaurant in the morning looking for breakfast I surprised the host who was watching porn movies in the middle of the dinner room holding his...
What a lovely place myself and my family didn't stay here we only went to eat but we went back three times! Fantastic food, decor is lovely and rustic, lots to look at, the family that owned it are very very welcoming and polite.cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant will visit again.
This review regards the restaurant and environments, not the inn. We arrived late after visiting the Belogradchik Kaleto krepost. The place is designed as "Mechana", meaning old-style place, nicely decorated. There's a nice garden outside where I assume additional places can be set up in case large numbers of guests arrive. The food we had was tasty and arrived on time. Since we were late in the evening and there are not many tourists in this season, they were out of some of the dishes. The waiters barely spoke English, but we got by. All in all, I liked the place.
Well, a relaxing atmosphere, delicious dishes, friendly hosts basic inn could describe this place. You must try the delicious Torlak specialities. The rooms are spacious and clean but an unpleasant smell floated through all the rooms. Still, it is not a reason not to choose this charming place.
This family run inn has everything a visitor to the country could wish for: beautiful countryside, amazing home-cooked meals, and unrivaled hospitality. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the garden boasts a little pond, and there are a myriad of activities the owner can arrange: from wine tasting to mountain biking, you will find it here.
We stayed for only one night in the course of a whistlestop tour of Bulgaria. Our aim was the fortress and the Belochik Rocks. Both are worth a visit. The Madonna is basic but comfortable. The rooms are clean, have private bathrooms , and the host friendly and helpful. The lunch (late) and dinner were tasty . We did not accept our guides recommendation to try the Raki but did enjoy the generous glass of wine. It is a little out of the way but worth the visit, .
