The forest, pond, and chapel that can be seen from the front entrance are beautiful, and the guest room amenities include spa clothing and indoor clothing, and two types of slippers, leather and toweling, which we used. The lamp at the head of the bed was small and was designed so that it would not shine on the bed next to us. The bathroom amenities were also well-stocked, and the toweling was thick. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant "Kuruma-ya". The food was presented artistically and was very delicious. The rooms were also connecting, so it was very convenient to be able to go to the next room without going out into the hallway. The two rooms are connected internally, so the room feels spacious. There is a large communal bath, so you can immerse yourself in the hot spring atmosphere. Another feature of Forest Inn Showakan is the abundance of forests.

The funeral of a relative in a neighboring town was decided on short notice, and I decided to stay at a nearby business hotel, even if it was a little expensive. I stayed to work from home. "I heard that it was a hotel with greenery that would be the location of choice, so I came with the light expectation that I would be happy to take a walk in the garden in between work, but the forest was bigger and deeper than I had imagined, and it spread all over the big windows of the room, so it was very soothing just to look out without leaving the room." Conversely, in late July, when I stayed, it was extremely hot for walking, and some of the walking maps I received at the front desk were so overgrown with vegetation that I couldn't go through them unless I was mistaken. (But where I could, I was comfortable walking with wood chips.) The staff were all very calm and accommodating, and I enjoyed what was served at the three restaurants and cafes without being surprised. Unfortunately, the museum is scheduled to close and the facilities are undeniably old, making perfect Ratings difficult. But the room was large, I had no trouble spreading out my laptop and papers, and the chairs and bed were solid. The couch in the public space was noticeably frayed, but it felt rather sad, and I went home feeling like I was returning from my nostalgic family home even though it was the first time I had been there. My feeling is a perfect Rating.

I have no complaints about the location, service, or rooms, but the poor cleaning brings the rating down.

Used by three generations, six adults and three children. The Japanese-style room (all made of good wood) and the triple room were opposite each other, so it was easy to go back and forth. The barbecue in the garden had a great atmosphere (although it was a bit cold at night), and the spa was very pleasant. I have heard rumors that it will close, but please keep it open forever.

I stayed here on a family trip. We stayed here last year, and my child had fond memories of the buffet and baths, so he asked me to come back. I have stayed here many times, but this is the most relaxing hotel I have stayed at. This time, I was looking for a hotel with a large public bath nearby, and decided on Forest Inn Showakan. However, this time, there were some things that bothered me and some things I wish they would try a little harder, so I would like to write about them.
[Rooms] - The water temperature of the washlet in the toilet could not be changed, so I was surprised that it was too hot (sorry if it could be adjusted) - There was no outlet next to the bed, which was inconvenient

I visited Akishima for an event held at FOSTER Hall, and stayed one night at this nearby hotel. The service was very polite and I had a pleasant stay. I was looking forward to a walking tour of the gardens, but unfortunately it was closed due to snowfall. I look forward to coming again next time. The only thing that bothered me was that there were insects and their corpses accumulated between the double-glazed windows in the room, which I suppose can't be helped given the location. I'm sure it would be a pain to clean, but I think it would look better without them. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. Thank you very much.
